if you have vista on it already DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL XP YET!

search microsoft.com, i think theres an article on how to do it specifically. you will get boot errors if you try it the regular way. vista uses a different boot method.

but if you hav XP on it already, just instal from inside XP and you should be fine

you install steam to D. the game files are kept within your files in the steam root directory.

btw, i would say this is not the right forum.

reusable, assuming:
1.the case isthe size you will need for future mobo sizes
2. 500-600w of power doesn't become standard/obsolete
3. the psu doesn't burn out
4. it has the right hookups for future, undevelopedhardware

if you use adobe or autodesk programs i would recommend dual booting. im about to get another hard drive and partition it with some xp
