Unfortunately I'm not wrong. You are assuming all games have the same starting point, and that´s not true. The first game has always something special that the sequels must respect.

We can debate strong or weaker points of a specific game, but a game who belongs to a serie must be judged not only by his technicalities (graphics, gameplay, sound, etc) but also by context (story, narrative).

If you can´t see this I don´t know what to say...

Actually this is just wrong. But ironically it is also right. Wrong because you can make a division in a story told. If that were possible I wouldn't mind about ME3, and by being so ME1 and ME2 would still be perfect games to my eyes. But ME3 has impact in ME1 and ME2, and the same thing happens with ME1 and ME2 having an impact in ME3.

BUt you are also right because the game tries hard to go far away from previous games. Sadly, it fails in that too.

Everyone was freaking out because of the story not the gameplay. ME strong side was always the feeling provided by the story, not by the gameplay or graphics.

Andromeda is a meh game, not as bad as people are saying but also not even close to the quality of ME1 or ME2.

Oh...It´s the biggest insult I have ever saw.

I played a lot of bad games, but that's the thing, just bad games. But ME3 goes to a different level of bad. The beginning kills ME1 plot, the middle goes full retard with the crucible plot and the endings... it´s hard to even describe what I felt when I saw the hero raised in Me1 and ME2 becoming the main villain of the story.

A story has a beginning a middle and an end. In a trilogy you have this sequence three times, but the first game is also the beginning (and the game who define the rules of the universe of the game), the second game the middle and the third game the conclusion to the story.

If the third game is so stupid that puts the other parts of the story in jeopardy, then the third game has failed miserably.

But ME3 goes beyond that, the levels of stupidity of that game is something astonishing.

I don´t like the game, but also I don´t hate the game. I don´t think that it is a bad game, it´s just meh.

I don´t know how this game ends, so... it could have a brain fart in the same way as ME3, but I don´t think that´s the case here.

One thing I know, this game pisses on ME3 endings and the whole logic of the catalyst. It´s so funny, Supermac pissing on itself...

It´s so damn boring that it hurts. It has moments that I think, ok, this is better, I can do it, but then, more of the same... boring.

If you like the game enjoy it. It certainly is not as bad as ME3 (that would be impossible). But stop talking about the animations as the only problem, there are more problems, and the narrative is one of those problems.
