@mogan: Agree. I´m enjoying the show, more than most other Star Wars shows, but at the same time this is the show with most rolling eyes moments from me.
Too many episodes, too little time... it makes no sense, but that's the reality. They needed more time to fully develop characters, but at the same time they have more than enough runtime to do it. To me, the episodic strategy is a failure. Same can be applied to the execution. The thing I liked the most are the ideas behind the narrative, and the fights, the best in star Wars.
@sebb: The best way to consume this is to wait the release of all episodes and experience them all at once... that would be my choice, but you can´t do this in an era when spoilers are everywhere.
Especially with star wars... between the "bad" people, the opportunists and the "not so clever" people... it's spoilers everywhere...
Ironically for me, it's the Star Wars show I having more fun (the backlash is helping, have to admit) just behind Andor (by far the best).
Its a bad show, clearly would be way better if all the episodes were released at once. The 30m episode is a moment breaker, it takes you out of the flow of the story and the cuts make little sense.
But is different from all the other star wars shows, the fight are the best thing I ever saw is star wars (episode 3 rival that in a different way),more brutal and technical than the other types of choreography.
The acting is crazy good and crazy bad... LOL... the only problem I have with the show, besides the 30m episode is the twins... I really dont care about their story... but the other characters... I´m on board.
@adrardohan: "Only bit I liked was Gina's character then she was written out."
LOL... You want entertainment and the "only bit you liked" it's the most dull and badly performed character... performed by the worst actress in all shows... LOL
@Mimbus: "The best thing that Star Wars fans can do is to not watch any more."
Correction... Hardcore fans and people who make videos about it... I accept one video complaining and bashing this show, if you hate it fine but... move on, don't waste your time anymore... be better...
"they are deliberately making choices they know will drive fans into a frothing rage."
Wrong... fans do it because they enjoy doing it. The corporations want success, success brings money and profits... but is hard to please everyone, especially Star Wars fans...
PS: I'm enjoying the show so far. Light fun, some cool fights, soft storie e nice visuals... so far... cool by me... I enjoy this way more than the mandalorian... so...
@sealionact: That's the problem with overdramatization...
"a small book burning down a huge mountain"
Clearly... The small book is the tip of the iceberg of what happened...
"The Force is now “The thread”..."
No, the force is the force as always... the difference is that some people call it the force, some the thread, and so on... the "force" can have a thousand variations name wise...
But the biggest question is... if is so bad... why see it? Just to complain?
