Love it when the ones yelling about others being fanboys are fanboys themselves. How about growing up, realizing this "my system is better" bullcrap has been going on since the days of Genesis (Sega, not the one in the Bible), and every time the mature ones have been able to take a step back and realize that each system had strengths, and each system had weaknesses. At the end of the day, it mostly depended on which one had the exclusives that you liked more. What was the real reason for all the trash talk (and still is)? Because you feel the need to validate your invested money by crapping on the other option. To make the overarching statement that the other option is without worth and any merit is not only completely wrong (only made worse by the fact that none of you have actually played any of them), but also incredibly immature and juvenile. Just because I buy a Honda does not mean that all Toyotas suck.
What you need to to is either get a better job and buy both systems (because at the end of the day, each system will have some really awesome stuff to show and offer, and blinding yourself to that fact only robs you of enjoying half of what the industry has to show), get a friend who has the other system, or grow the F up and stop treating this like it's a gang war where you have to pick sides, and take your PS/XB colored glasses off for a moment and realize there is some really cool stuff on both sides.
Unless of course you're just here because putting other people down for their choices somehow makes you feel cool. In which case, finish your homework and your chores so you don't get grounded, then get back to it.

I find it pretty hilarious to see fanboys accusing others of being fanboys. You're all pretty funny to me, feeling the need to trash on the system you didn't get in order to justify your purchase. Grow up and stop acting like this is some nerdy gang war where you have to pick a side. If you can't admit that there are good things on every system, and that it just depends on your personal preferences, then you need to stop talking until you graduate from grade school.

@ligerplease You know tech demos aren't really advertising new games, right? It's just showing off the...you guessed it...the tech behind the Unreal 4 engine. You will never see this as an actual game.

@Danreborn2000 Except FFXIII had only pre-rendered cinematics that look like this. The whole point of these tech demos is that this is supposed to be the in-game quality.

Oh god, all this nonsense about Guitar Hero v Rock Band. Sheesh people, just play what you like and leave everyone else alone. So what if some jerkoff is bad mouthing the game you like? Does it make it any less enjoyable to you? Does it make the game any worse? I sure hope not, otherwise you have some problems. As far as the "who came first" and "who's more original" argument, you should all keep in mind that when comparing the two, the people who originally made GH are the same people who made RB. Only reason they made RB was because Activision bought out the rights to GH, and left the guys over at Harmonix with some free time to come up with something else. So without GH, no RB, but without the minds behind the increasingly popular and $$$ making RB, there would be no GH. What to do now? See above paragraph, and play the game of your choice. Yes, GH is more challenging... for play-guitarists (have to tack the "play" on there, as some of them have come to revere themselves as actual guitarists with the way they go on). Fortunately for RB and it's fans, the game is about so much more than just guitars. It's alot more about playing with friends and having a good time at a party or just hanging out than GH ever was. GH is more for the hardcore play-guitarist who sits and plays by himself until he is so good that he can show off or shred the face of any other play-guitarist who feels up to the challenge. RB on the other hand is more about playing with those friends co-operatively to just have a good time, instead of strictly shredding faces. Just stick with what seems more appealing to you, and stop making a big deal about it. (Oh, and let's not forget the ridiculous amount of RB tracks available for download, with more every week, and all that backwards compatibility. Sorry, had to make a single dig for my brand of choice)

Ok, so I'll ask again since no one was kind enough to answer: I'm getting the MGS4/PS3 bundle, does anyone know if the systems come with an HDMI cable, or do I have to buy that seperately? Not just talking about this specific bundle, but of PS3's in general.
