Ok, the ultimate point of gamerpoints is this: It's not to sit there and talk lame trash on who can get the most points. Say you get through beating your favorite game, so instead of putting it back on the shelf to collect dust or simply trading it back in, you notice there are a number of achievements that you haven't yet accomplished. So now the game that originally gave you only 8 hours of entertainment now is giving you an extra 4 (at least). Do some people get carried away with gamerpoints and try to do nothing but brag about how cool they are because they have some ungodly gamerscore? Yes. Fortunately those are the minority, vocal though they may be.

I have the suspicion that due to the comment, that GIF is some variety of 360 hater. PS3 fanboy maybe? I really don't get why PS3 fanboys always tend to end up on 360 msg boards. Not enough good PS3 games to play I guess?

Every time they do one of these "how to get a ton of points", they completely pass by the all time easiest game to score 1000 points in: King Kong. All you need to do is play the game through once, and you score all 1000 points. It's great.
