This is a typical liberal mindset...if you talk about a 'problem', you are exempt from actually doing anything about it. It's soooo much easier to sit back and tell everyone else what they should be doing. Lead by example?? Pfft. Crazy how Elizabeth, such an important part of the game is missing from the box art of B:I entirely. Oh wait, he explained that, that was to 'sell games', lol. See the irony here?
@Falru No no no, we need to institute a mandatory 50% female hiring quota, cause let's be honest, women aren't smart enough to achieve that on their own.
@percuvius2 I don't think they do, largely, some do sure...but just like it's a pretty well established fact, that women enjoy shoe shopping more than men, I would bet money that more men enjoy gaming than women...
The problem is this politically correct notion now days that argues that men and women are the same...which to me is just preposterous, we are very different, and that's ok.
@theKSMM @Eric8315 Just curious, I see folks like you on these comments all the time, telling us how evil and sexist we all are, I rarely hear any solutions to alleged problem. I don't mean, "PUT MORE WOMEN IN GAMES", that's not an argument, specifically...what is it you think would be a good idea? Do you, for example, advocate that the government create 'inclusiveness' programs for games, that sets up hiring quotas? Similar to affirmative action? And how would you respond to the women that say, "We don't need you to hold our hand" "We are just as capable as you to take care of ourselves"....???
@theKSMM @bluefox755 No one is saying a team of interracial women can't come in and make a 'better' game, call of duty sucks, yeah, but that has very little to do with the skin color of the people making the games, call of duty gets made because that's what the publishers push, because that's what the kids want, there is a DEMAND for said game, you can't circumvent supply and demand economics, because game creation requires you to make a profit. Want more creative freedom? Go to the indie market. For the record, black kids play the same thing, call of duty and madden, are what 90% of my friends, black and white, play primarily. I can't speak for women so much cause I only know a few that game beyond facebook, my girlfriend loves skyrim, I tell her it's overrated...I think your crusade to label everything with race and gender has little to do with an actual problem, perhaps you are struggling with insecurities of your own?
@JBStone1981 @bluefox755 Well, I don't like having my right to choose stripped away, maybe I'm alone in that, I might be cooler about it if they could give me a reason why it's good for me? Any 1 reason? I know it's good for them, it lets them throw more ads at me, but why is it good for me?
@greenman123 Some will, I'm not sure their "force it down the throats of the consumer" tactic will pay off as well as they think...choice is a beautiful thing.
