The fanboys who are backing this fail to see the singular thing causing the outrage...they are FORCING it on us, they are taking choice out of the equation. Most folks don't like that.
@KillaGinjaNinja @bfmv2007 that's hardly a good example, the reason for that is because diablo 2 had many die hard fans years after it was released, and it essentially 'was' an online game
@Double-Ego @greenman123 Yes, same with tablets, no one wants to enter a contract on that crap, I don't even like doing it with a phone, moved exclusively to no-contract.
@Asukafan2001 That's not the point, it's about principle, and forcing your customers to stay connected is a business practice I cannot support. If they can provide me with a single reason as to why it would benefit me as the consumer, as opposed to having it an option, I may reconsider.
Kind of dumb on his part, unless he's investing the savings back into the company, that would be smart. But yeah, this is all PR, he makes most of his money off capital investments anyway.
Hugely popular, over the top inclusiveness (vampires and ghosts?)
Let the market do it, sims is proof that it can, and be hugely successful as well. This whole crusade of telling all white male gamers they are racist/sexist/hateful bigots because they might not necessarily share your enthusiasm or your politics, is hurting your cause.
@FAIL_TR0LL @Pockets69 @MoronGotMyName @WantYouBad Why wouldn't he get fired? The people clearly demand blood, I somehow doubt this tool is all that 'valuable' to the company, surely he's very replaceable.
