I loved Demon's Souls. The level of customization is outstanding, the weapons and armor are some of the coolest looking I've ever seen in a game, graphics are great, challenging but fair gameplay, and so on. It's just unique in many respects. It's in my top 5 games of this year. I would give it RPG of the year, but I just started playing Dragon Age and... well Dragon Age is just outstanding!
Um, to play it about a year sooner than the goty edition... if you don't see the value in that then go ahead and wait on getting some of the best games of the year.
I'm happy with my free chocobo MS is supposed to be sending out soon. No way would I pay for an avatar pet. Even the clothing is a ripoff. I like the idea of avatar awards, the stuff I unlocked in Halo waypoint is cool and I use some of it on my avatar, but that should be how you get new clothes. By avatar awards/ getting achievements. Not by wasti... I mean, spending, real money.

Play it. Why not? Like you said it's used anyways. It's one of the best games this gen. In fact, scratch that. Don't play it. Buy a 2nd copy for yourself. It's well worth owning.
I find it hard to believe that you've never bought a game that you didn't enjoy. The only way that's possible is if you rent every game you plan to buy first, and even then you would still end up renting some games that you don't end up liking.
C: It's called researching a game and did you know that alot of games are similar? After just a few gameplay videos and some previews I know if I'll like a game or not. I have realistic expectations for games and never hype them up unless, I'm positive I will like it. I have over 80 Xbox 360 games and I have enjoyed them all so far except, for the ones I got for black friday because I haven't played them all yet. By the way, I don't rent games because I see no point in it.
This. I do my research as well and have never bought a game and regretted it. And I have a lot of games.
