Sweet. I didn't know about this until it happened to me. I decided to give Halo Waypoint a go, and all of a sudden I unlocked like 12 awards! That was a pleasant surprise!
Honestly I can't see what the big deal about L4D is. The graphics suck (I'm not a graphics whore, I play and replay lots of old games with dated graphics all the time, but a new game should have graphics that reflect the year in which it released), it's repetitive, the campaign takes about 4 hours tops to beat, and the replay value comes from playing the campaign over and over again with other people. To me, it gets old, fast. But then again, I dont understand why so many people love Super Smash Brothers, either, another game that gets old fast, so, I guess I just shouldn't question it. Haha
Overall, Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, Forza 3, ODST. In that order. But don't get me wrong. I love ODST. Dragon Age, Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, Tekken 6, Ratchet and Clank Future ACIT, and Arkham Asylum are all games I am getting over the next couple weeks, however, and I'm sure many of them will make my top as well.
IGN AU put one up, and IGN UK reviewed the PC version (though the differences in gameplay are significant enough so that the PC review would be quite different from the console review). Don't know what's up with IGN US though... oh well, I know I'm getting this game for sure. Bioware games never fail to deliver.
Havent played Gay Tony yet but I still think GTA4 will probably stand as my favorite. TLAD was great and Gay Tony looks like ridiculously over-the-top style fun, but the original game is a full game, and the other 2 are still only expansions, albeit very high quality expansions.
There's a difference between people who bash quality games like Halo and CoD because they don't like them and think they're overrated, and people who bash games that actually suck, like Vampire Rain. I think you are arguing that people shouldn't bash games because they are 'overrated'. But there are games out there of such poor quality that pretty much everyone can agree 'suck', even if some people enjoy them.
Looks fun, wouldn't mind playing it, but I'm getting sick of music games, and I listen mostly to metal and prog. I'd rather just play real guitar than a music game at this point, and that's what I do. Still, it looks like it would be a lot of fun at a party or something.
