He's done a lot for sure, and I mean no disrespect, but he is BORING. That keynote was the biggest waste of my time. Of course after it ended I learned that the REAL Sony conference is later tonight.
I'm not so sure this one will be televised... E3 shows are, but sometimes other game shows don't allow video in their conferences. there weren't any for the Gamescom Sony conference. You might just have to read a liveblog. I hope they show it, though.
Seriously, don't complain after you bought the game. We all knew what was in the box for the past few months. If people don't like paying so much for games, bargain hunt. It's not that hard. I pre-ordered my copy for $60 with no tax on Amazon, and got 15 dollars in game credit, which technically brought down the price to 45 dollars. Then, Amazon changed the price to 50 yesterday, and according to their policy, they had to refund me the difference. So now I payed technically 35 for odst. It's not that hard to save money on games, people. Just saying, if people wanna save, cheapassgamer forums and Amazon.com are great resources.
Already have Fo3 and all the DLC (360 version) but Uncharted is a must buy and Borderlands is a potential must buy. My wallet is gonna cry in October. Funny how Borderlands and Fo3 GOTY are coming out on the same day, since Borderland reminds me of Fallout 3 haha
It's a great series and most of them are some of my favorite games of all time. X is my favorite, and probably the most noob friendly. It's a good place to start if you're just getting into Final Fantasy. Whether or not you want to play X-2 is up to you. Some people liked how X ended and other people wanted the continuation X-2 provided, me being in the latter group. VII is obviously great, as is VIII, though VIII is really confusing and it takes some time to get a hadnle on the game. IX is very old school and classic in its own right. XII is the most 'modern' one and has many great improvements over its predecessors, but some people didn't like the gameplay. I loved XII, but the story wasn't too memorable for a Final Fantasy. Still, it's worth playing IMO. I can't speak for the older ones, I'm a post-VII FF gamer. Though I do plan to work my way through the older ones eventually.
is it going to be an install disc like forza 3 is doing... just a thought i dont really know much about it but i will probably get the game

NO. do NOT install the mp disc. Bungie said it themselves. Just like Halo 3, installing it to the HDD will slow down the load times, making multiplayer matches take longer for everyone you play with to set up. So don't do it. The ydid say the the ODST disc is fine to install though, it's optimized for installing. Just not disc 2
Old game, but Jade Empire. I played the demo years ago and hated it. I picked it up last week for 5 bucks and have a totally different opinion. It's a great game.
Just get and HDMI to DVI cable, no need for a converter. Just make sure that there is no gap between the pins on the DVI end. Gap = analog DVI. No Gap = Digital.
