@ali_manslayer: Blocking is still definitely a thing?

This is a REALLY fun game. Super fast, super tight, fun, dumb power ups, and it's some good arcade fun.

The ONLY bummer is that on PS4, there is no option to invert look controls, which has made some of the harder levels almost unplayable for me. Hopefully this gets patched.

Definitely worth the $15.

I've been away from this game for a while but recently bought it on PS4 (originally had it on 360)

Do the multiplayer vehicles and weapons still carry over to the single-player like previous DLCs? Has there been any word on that? GTA Online is just not my cup of tea, and I'd love to still enjoy some new content on mt side of the game.

I'm sure they are doing what they genuinely think is best for their product, but perception wise, Niantic seems determined to drive their success with this straight into the ground.

Wow. The tone of the writing knew what it wanted to be, but had no clue how to get there. Reminded me of those Aaron Paul Mazda commercials... weird.

@lostn: Magic in GoT is always unreliable and uncontrollable. That's what makes it so compelling in this universe to me. The children were driven to extremes, made a decision, and unwittingly created a threat worse than man, That's pretty cool. It shows even the really powerful characters in the world are, ultimately, just as messed up and vulnerable as anyone else.

@effinjay: Okay,
If you squint real hard, sure. It makes sense in that yeah, I get that Mat's trying to say it was a good episode. But to say this episode "one of the best" of the season (but not *the* best?) and also "probably the best from the past few seasons (meaning yes probably *the* best?)" is logically wonky, (which is what I actually said in my critique) and a really sloppy way of simply saying "this was one of the best episodes in a good long while".

If that was the only weird thing in this, I wouldn't care. but the entire text reads like quickly written, poorly or entirely unedited notes, and that's what my big issue is. GS is trying to compete with entertainment coverage which is totally fine, but they need to do a lot better than this write-up to pull me from IGN's coverage, which is much, much better presented (yes there are plenty better more dedicated places togo for GoT stuff, but GS is clearly and directly competing with IGN on this).

I generally prefer GS to IGN, so posts like this, and their terrible social media writing, are a big disappointment compared to things like the lobby and all the cool stuff Danny and Mary do.

And now that I 've become that guy and written a critique nearly as long as the original post, I'm done. Adios. <>

I don't mind GS covering entertainment stuff (I've made my peace with the realities of online content) but good grief, can we look over this stuff before we post it? This read like hastily written notes for a first draft. Really simple things like name mix ups or full on errors, and sentence logic ("This was easily one of the best episodes of Game of Thrones of the season and probably the best from the past couple of seasons." That sentence is a mess and doesn't even make sense?) make this a bummer to work through.

I'm not saying this needs to be a literary masterpiece. This is a quick recap of an episode that you want live ASAP. I get that. But reading this made me want to never come back here for GoT recaps, when i can find more and better presented write ups on Tumblr. Tumblr!

@Fallenlords69: You want games only, then go to Giant Bomb. Well, other than the wrestling and F1 coverage. I've accepted the reality of cross media coverage on these sites, because it's literally how they are able to stay up and running. It sucks, but if the choice is Games + their other stuff or not having the site at all, I'll suck it up and take the extra half second to filter through the relevant headlines.

The internet runs on diversity and clickbait now. That's more our fault as consumers than sites as businesses.

But seriously, if you only want games coverage, Giant Bomb's got you covered. You don't need to be wandering over here getting upset at articles you don't need to read or even look at.
