No I think it has something to do with the fan because it gets quite hot and then when it crashes and I try to get back on the game it says an error occured during the start operation.

If I leave it for an hour or so it starts to work for about 15mins then it crashes again.

My PS3 keeps freezing but only on games that have a disk (so no demos or downloaded games freeze, and they work perfectly fine) I think it may be because it is getting hot because the fan does not work properly. Could this be the case?
