First of all this is a LAME thread.  I laugh at all you people who come on to a message board to find clan members.  Anyone worth their salt wouldnt join a clan from someone they do not know, let alone played with before.  You may well be the best player out their (although this is HIGHLY doubtful) but if you were so good you wouldnt have to come here to get teamates.  I find it so funny when I play RFOM and I get 4 or 5 clan invites from people I own during the game.  Actually....that being said, dont waste your time forming a clan for that game.  Its a great game but EASILLY the WORST game for clans I have ever played.

Good luck sniping....I will be sure to give you a nice mele to the back of the neck with my shotty!

Planet Earth is simply incredible.  It was a must TIVO and I find myself watching it all the time.  Like nothing you have seen before and I dig documentaries.

Obviously the graffics are better on a HDTV.  That is all that I have ever played since I have had my PS3.  That being said, my brother just got his PS3 and I went over to his house to hang out.  He has seen mine being played (on a 21 inch Sony HDTV monitor).  He has a standard 37 inch (I think) Sony Triniton which is nice but an older model.  I was pleasantly suprised how good Marvel looked on his TV.  I honestly didnt think it would be comparable (and technicaly its not) but the picture was VERY nice.  You also have to remember that not all games are in 1080 but rather in 720.  If I were to play one of the higher end games such as the GT demo there is a TOTAL difference but with a game like RFOM there isnt that much of a change.  My picture had better clarity and lighting but his was good too.  I would say you are fine until you get a chance to upgrade TV's.  It is a HUGE difference over a PS2

[QUOTE="boss130"]I have not switched and I dont plan on it anytime soon. I am far from cheep but I just cant see paying $30 bucks for a blue ray. I rarely go to the theater anymore since most movies are crap lately and I dont feel like dropping $40 for two and popcorn and the works. I simply wait and get the movies on DVD and spend anywhere between $10-20 bucks. If I dont like it I just sell it on EBAY. I have nearly 200 DVD's in my collection and I am very happy with them.Saruman1719

Try shopping online and you won't be paying $30+.  There are plenty of Blu-ray movies for a shade under $20 on DeepDiscount.com, plus factor in that you won't pay tax on that either.  I hear you though...I'm beginning to buy Blu-ray movies of newer movies and stuff I feel that is worth rebuying...converting my collection of close to 700 DVD's would be a bit excessive.

I have never heard of that site.  Thanks for the info!  If I can get them a shade under $20 then that will be fine.  Like you said....its hard to rebuy all the old ones that I have.  I am afraid that I will love them too much and then force my self to get my older ones updated like I did with my VHS tapes.  DAMN TECHNOLOGY!  The funny thing is that I bought my PS3 after the initial launch so I didnt even get Talladega Nights.  I have not even seen a movie in HD!

Sorry guys but I always thought that SOCOM was TERRIBLE!  Just my opinion but damn if I am not in the minority.  You Socom fans are definatly devoted.  I personally think that the BF series is much better.
