So much hype for this? I knew the whole game was going to be a modern copy of Halo, but I expected a decent one, the review explains all the flaws. Fighting waves of generic enemies mission after mission, vast uninteresting levels, lack of a game story whatsoever. The mechanics of the game may be top notch but is it fun after all? I guess not. And they say it is a multibillion project that´s supposed to cost more then The Lord of The Rings trilogy and bla, bla, bla. Bungie is just trying to buy people into this game. I´m sure they will try to fix a lot of stuff on the next Destiny, but they have to realize what was a sure formula ten years ago is not anymore. The game doesn´t even look impressive for a nextgen title. I was never drawn to Halo, was hoping that maybe Destiny would make me play these kind of games, but after seeing everything about the game on the internet I will pass it once again.
The true underdog?! With nextgen around the corner I am sure there will be an underdog that might get the big guys worried about it, new tech and groundbreaking ideas combined with mass appeal and value can take a bite of the pie, not saying this will be the case, just a strong feeling things will be different this time around... There are specs in there for the casual to the hardcore!

By all the flames I can see ppl are not ready for something more mature, the gameplay in MGS series needs a refresh, not the fps way, and you @DanielL5583 should have a more mature attitude instead of calling ppl massive idiot, not everyone is obligated to accept the shit they shove down your throat. I could go on a lenght explanation why I don't like the game the way I did before, but there's no point to it, since I can see there's no room for any debate with fanboys.
But I will go on. The latest MGS games to ME are outdated, you just keep doing the same crap all over again with "brand new graphics". For a game that you claim to be so "insane" I see no reason for the stealth gameplay then. What's the point of being tactical in a game if you can just run around like an idiot, in the middle of a battlefield with a helicopter, a tank, and many soldiers and don't get killed?
And when I say I didn't like 4, I'm not alone. A lot of fans were expecting more from the game. MGS not realistic? The whole story of the game is based on military history, cold war, terrorism, nukes, if that's not real to you maybe you live under a little rock in Mars. When I first played MGS on PS1 I really felt like a character that was a bad ass spy, doing possible things, fighting agains't beliavable enemys, with a very intriguing story that kept me hooked up till the end.
I can't say the same thing about MGS4, with so many complicated conclusions, that even die hard fans had some problems to tie up everything together, very unrealistic shit like cyborgs, a mix of japanese anime and an american low budget action movie. Too much fantasy for a game that claims to be a "Tactical Espionage Action". That's why Rising was such a flop, after all it feels like you're not in a real world, but a complicated dream of a japanese guy who tries to appeal to the americans in a way that doesn't make sense at all.
****! Even GTA feels more real to me with all over the top insanity then MGS. And when I say animation feels old I don't refer to the new fox engine wich looks amazing, but the way Snake looks like the same shit in previous games. He's crouch walking animation looks like he has something up his ass all the time. Take a note from Naught Dog with their amazing work on animation on the Uncharted series and The last of Us. It never feels like you are controlling a soulless android.
I wish as a fan of the series, that kojima left Snake alone till he or somebody else was able to bring back old Snake in a very modern and new experience, wich is not the case. And that doesn't make of me a "massive idiot" like some ppl say. It's just an opinion of someone who's tired of the SAME!

Kojima should just give Snake a rest, very boring to see one guy killing a bunch of dudes, running like crazy, putting down a chopper and a tank and yet no sign of danger or death of the character. The stealth aproach is getting too old for Snake, the animation feels like the old MGS on PS1 with high end graphics. For Christ sake there is a point in the demo that Snake is just sleeping on the floor and killing ppl at the same time. Not realistic at all. I used to be a fan of the series but after the cinematic movie with some buttons pressing of 4 I can't get excited for 5...
I wanted to hear more in the review not only here, but in other sites also, about character customizations, can u buy a house and live there? How many vehicles can u own? Can u buy parts and customize vehicles for races? If they played the whole game and something stands out, they should mention it. We already knew the missions are action packed and wonderfull, but what about the nitpicks, like underwater activities and such? Too early for a review of a game that claims to be so big and diverse.
@telaros I think you will be able to download your game the same way we are doing it now, if you want to be faster just go to a brick store and buy the media, way safer than anything digital, hard drives can die or you can get blocked from the content you already bought for a stupid reason. That's why I never buy games online. At least they can't come to my house and take away my disc yet...
