Its a shame we have to be comfortable in that fact thanks to the new agreement from Sony...im starting to think 35 quid a year aint so bad.

its not working for me. the internet works just fine, but PSN wont connect. is it under maintenance or something?

UK here and its down,I did a connection test and it passed but then went down again and aint come back yet. says error been signed out of psn with error code 8002a548. fuy howwe all just got that update wavering any right to take em to court if this kind of thing did happen. lol right before BF3!?.

Okay so I downloaded crysis 1 from direct2drive yesterday and thought I'd try it out in max settings. Now at first I was pleased with the performance, but started to notice something wasn't right. It was a little stuttery and choppy. Once I realized this, I changed settings to medium and there was a significant improvement in performance. It was I'd like to say perfect, but I don't believe anythings perfect. So now I'm dissappointed because here I am with a GAMING LAPTOP that I purchased in 2011 that can't run a game that came out in 2008? Like... REALLY?

I would give all the specs but the copy/paste won't work..

I got the 2nd generation i7 processor. 2630QM 2.0GHz (2.9 GHz turbo mode, 6M cache)

6GB DDR3 at 1600MHz

1.5GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M using NVIDIA optimus technology

(Please let me know if I'm missing any important specs, but thats the processor, the ram and video card)

Now I was told several times that alienware m14x can run crysis on max settings with no problem, so I'm having trouble accepting the response "Your ____ is not high enough" because to me, sorry, but that's a load of bull ####. This game came out in what, 2008? It's 2011!!!!!!

My question is simple. What can I do about this? Is there something I can do to make my laptop run this game on max settings? Maybe I accidently disabled something? I don't know but please help because I'm not good with PC's! I just got this laptop a 4 days ago too.
