[QUOTE="bronze_earth"]Mmmm just looked into the amd radeon HD 7870 now that would be the ticket. It's expensive at over 200 quid but you don't buy a car and put piss in the tank to run it do ya. I think my best bet would be to have a place build one to my specs don't you think?.Lox_Cropek

Search for these: GTX 570, GTX 580, HD 7870, HD 7950, HD 6970.

My head hurtz...lol see what I did. Thanks man now I'm more confused lol....what's best card for under 300 quid? You tell me what you would get for that.

[QUOTE="bronze_earth"][QUOTE="jonleeprice"]

No need for that cpu and that gpu is crap tbh.......lower cpu and upgrade gpu

Lox_Cropek

Yes yes I get it guys the CPU overpower and gpu crap but please give me a link to read about this card unless I'm to presume your just going by the 1 gig version. It's easy to tell me it's crap etc but without understanding the basis of this and knowing how you got your info then it's simply not helping me. It seems no one can grasp that the card I'm talking about is different to the standard 1 gig. I should perhaps find people will take time to explain in detail to me instead of just saying its crappy without telling me about the new 2 gig version. C'mon guys don't surmise I need help I know nothing about this stuff it's why I'm in your hands. Thank you. It's a ready made one from dell I do not have the option to swap the card etc.

2GB instead of 1GB will change VERY little.

Here is a benchmark for the 7770: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7770-7750-benchmark,3135.html

Thank you,this is what I needed in order to have it sink in to my head....it's a shame I kind of liked the offer I got but I guess I will go elsewhere now to buy one. I was just on eBay and noticed this one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-Ivy-Bridge-I7-3770K-Gaming-PC-1tb-16gb-DDR3-GTX-560-TI-1gb-Galaxy-Computer-/170835610076?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item27c69889dc#ht_3645wt_1012 I don't know if the link will work unless you paste it,take a look at that and let me know if the card in that one is good. Or point me to a place I can purchase a system within the uk that would play battlefield 3 and AMA3 when it comes out.i would also utilise the CPU for blue screen and my photographic work so that's great on that front,but ya take a look at the link and or point me to the right place in the uk. Thank you guys.

I want a Gaming Laptop or Desktop. Don't get me wrong, I like the Xbox, but it lacks a lot of elements that the Computer has. Can you reccomend any Alienware Computer/laptops good enough to run Skyrim under $1,000? If you can't find one under 1 grand, just reccomend one that will run Skyrim. All help appreciated!

I bought an 17x Alienware laptop it was an i7 but it wasn't what I hoped it would be so be sure,you can get a way better system for the price,you pay for the brand with those also. Real nice machines I would love another but it's just not powerful enough compared with desktops you can get for way less.

your cpu is excessive for games. it is only worth the price if you are making videos and that kind of thing. a 2500k will do you fine. use the money for a better graphics card and then overclock the 2500k when you get it.

Thanks pal for the info, I think it's perhaps ok to be over powere with CPU if and when I need to keep up with future games although I understand I would then also need to buy a better card. Do you think my thinking on that is correct? If I want to future proof myself kinda. Again the GFX card I'm talking about...people seem to know of this card but I still can't find info on the exact card with the 2 gig as opposed to the 1 gig version everyone is talking about. Also the CPU is the new 3rd gen and not sandy bridge,it's ivy bridge. This is just out so I'm told. Any in-depth info on the card would be great guys.and let me know if I could run BF3 on high settings but with lower Rez. I have to make my mind up befor next Friday as I have the pc on standby order from dell. I just dont want to waste my cash like that other poor guy did on here lately. All help is appreciated guys thank you. Ps: it's pre built so I cant ask for a different card in place of the one inside.

Are you saying the gfx card is no good for that purpose? Everything else? Can I ask you where you got your information on the card I mention as I have done a google search and it does not show up,the 1GB version is the only one I seem to be able to find searching with google. I would love a link to the info on that card if you have one.thanks.

I Was about to order a new pc from Dell but after searching for the GFX Card online I hit a brick wall. I was wondering if the setup below would run Battlefield 3 on max and also arma 1&2. I will be happy at 720 instead of 1080 res so I'm not looking to max out my Rez as I find it more comfortable at a lower setting as I have bad eyes and this lower rez strangely seems to look better because of my condition...any way please have a look at the specs and notice the card says its a 2 GB version,when I search online I can only find the 1 GB version.m sure you guys can put me straight on this. Thank you in advance. Herer are the specs pasted from my dell order.. 3rd gen Intel® Core i7-3770 Processor (3.40GHz, 8MB) English Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64 BIT) OS Windows® Recovery Media Not included 256GB SSD + 2TB (7,200rpm) SATA Hard Drive 16x DVD +/- RW Drive (read/write CD & DVD) Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0+LE Integrated 7.1 with WAVE MAXXAudio 4 16384MB (4x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Dual Channel AMD Radeon HD 7770 2GB DDR5 Graphics Card
