Go to control panel>audio devices>audio and put back your old sound system.(Sigmatel,Realtek,or w/e)darx55
I have already tried that. When I go to the control panel it says NO DEVICES. I have also tried the DXDiagnosis tools and it says there are no sound cards!

Okay so I have an HP m7250n with onboard Realtek HD Audio and yesterday I installed an Asus HD4850 on it. Now I no longer have sound. I have tried reinstalling the audio drivers from the HP site and uninstalling the HD4850 drivers. I downloaded the video drivers from ATi and only installed the video drivers and still it doesnt work!

Please help!

Okay so I currently have a Pentium D in an Asus P5LP'LE (Lithium) and Im planing on switching the CPU on it with a E6850 Core 2 Duo. Would that stop the massive bottleneck that I currently have?

Im speaking 250 US currency! $=Dollars! $250 for a $50 graphics card is a bad deal! Costa Rica uses Colones. The current exchange rate is: $1.00= 530 Colones A dollar is nothing. 530 colones is also nothing here.

What ur motherboard and D is bad cnetral america doesn't know price ? What is ur Country specificly ? from central america ? and money currency plzmarcthpro
Umm.. write more clearly plz. Anyways I live in Costa Rica and heres an example. An ATI HD3850 that costs $50 at newegg costs $250 in Costa Rica. People here are complete ripoffs so its practically impossible to buy hardware here not only because it arrives here months later but because it is overpriced.

Could I possibly put an intel core 2 duo in this.

Oh and does anyone know of any online stores like newegg or tigerdirect that give worldwide shipping to lets say Central America?
