Not hardware problem btu I dont know where else to go so:

Im running windows XP 2002 SP3.

I have a Radeon 1950Pro running on 8.4 CCC drivers. I just downloaded the new 8.8 drivers and installed but it messed p my pc. My PC became really really laggy even though the processor was only at 4%. Now when I try to play Oblivion or any other game I get an error and cant start the game. I did some research and it turns out that the 8.8 drivers are crap. I did more research and i read that 8.7 betas are the best drivers out there.

How reliable is this? Can anyone help me what drivers should i get cause i really need an update. I also read about some omega drivers? Modded ATI drivers. Are they any good and worth getting. Ireally need help with this.

[QUOTE="bryan19929"]Bands from this century plz. Hopefullly by male lead vocalsit. Alice in Chains is good but a bit too old...Clampdown79

Why does the age of the music matter? These bands are timeless.

I really dont feel like listening to some 80 yr old dude singing lol :D

plus the sound quality isnt as good.

Evanescence rocks!

Ive been told of three days grace but never payed much attention to them. I will now though...

I have a Radeon x1950Pro. Im trying to overclock it using rivatuner. Im testing and benchmarking with 3dmark 06.

Ok so I bench stock at max settings: and then overclock little by little. After the overclock my score lowers.

So I drop resolution to 1280x1024 and AA to 4x and filtering to bilinear: Once again I overclock little by little and my score goes up.

So Im really confused? Does my overclock increase performance or not?

Ok, so I currently have Eset Security Suite which uses Nod32 3.0 a very well known antivirus.

Now some dude went into my PC and said that I had a crappy antivirus. Ofcourse I didnt believe him. He scaned my pc with my antivirus and found no viruses. He then installed avast antivirus and scanned my pc with it and found 1 virus that eset hadnt found. I mean Avast is fine, but it shouldnt be as good as eset right?

What are your prefered antiviruses and why?

Could you guys give me some sites were I might find some chrts. I went to PC world but I found their crts a bit outdated.

Right now I have an overclocked Radeon x1950 Pro and when playing games ATI Tool tells me that it changes from 55C to 60C. Its 50C when idle.Is that a good temp or should I lower clock speeds a bit?

Also, Imthinking about overclocking my pentium 4. As you can obviously tellfrom my name, Im only 14, and money is hard to come around. So far I know that the only risks that can come from overclocking CPU is that it can get fried (by overheating) and that has an easy solution, get better cooling.

What are other consequences to overclocking. and can someonetell me how hard it is to fry your system of ruin your system because of overclocking cpu. Thanks in advanced..

PS: Oh and by the way, I was at overclock.net and I read about someone having a processor very similar to mines (also P4 HT at 3 ghz) and he overclocked it all the way to 3.90Ghz.. thats a very significant change and he even had CPU-Z shot to prove it. Would you recommend me doing something like that. Remember, Im only a kid that needs a better performing PC (not like mines is bad, my pc kicks a** :D) I really dont want to ruin somthing because of overclocking.

Thanx in advanced!

I remember hearing somewhere that you could also overclock your motherboard.
