@HADES2001 if he planned out the murders, and couldn't (legaly) get a gun to do it, he would have just found another way to murder those people. or he would have just got a gun illegally off the black market.
guns aren't the problem. the huge, vast majority of gun owners don't do things like this because they are law abiding citizens, it's only the criminals who do the law breaking, and murder people with guns.so making guns illegal will not make the problem go away because criminals don't follow laws.
it's the same principle with drugs - making drugs illegal won't make them go away, it will just cause criminals to get them off the black market (illegally) to use them.
in the end the criminals will end up with them anyways. and if the law abiding citizens are stripped of their right to bear arms, then the criminals will be the only ones left with the guns. this will only make the problem worse because all the law abiding citizens, who can no longer protect themselves, will be at the mercy of criminal thugs (who don't follow laws) with guns.
it's a very, very bad idea to ban guns, make more backwards gun laws, and get rid of the right to bear arms...
the suuper duuuuper secret magic of evil video games. yikes!
video games are responsible for people getting fat:
forget the fact that people are lazy dumbfucks who don't eat right, exercise, or take care of themselves. nah, it's video games that are the problem, let's blame video games.
video games are the cause of violence:
forget the fact that people are evil and will find a way to cause harm to others whether it's with a gun, a knife, a bomb or something else (legal or illegal) - let's blame video games for evil peoples bad choices and actions.
video games are responsible for people not getting good grades:
let's forget the fact that those same people choose not to study, and choose to skip school. let's blame video games it obviously has nothing to do with personal responsibility.
jay rockefellar - a rich, corrupt, leftist billionaire who is using the mass murder of innocent people as a tool to push anti-freedom political agendas, which, in the end, will result in the loss of freedom of speech and the freedom of artistic expression, and will later tie into the loss of out right to bear arms.
well, i played it for about 10 hours today (the dlc fits into the game in bits and pieces like the me2 dlc did), and it's flat out kickass!
the graphics in the scorcher city (looks like old ancient aztec ruins) are AMAZING! and it really adds A LOT to the game; a must have if you like rage.
nvidia all the way. every ati card i've owned has had terrible driver support or no driver support, and some weird quirky problem to boot. one of them ($400 x800xl) blew out on me and i had to turn around and spend another $400 on a nvidia gs6800and that thing is STILL running in the old pc in the other room for internet and common stuff.
