A hdd standard would greatly benefit the x360 but the cost of it being added would ultimately have to be passed onto the consumers which would certainly eliminate the price drop that analyst are predicting. Seeing the X360 hit that sweet $199 would give it some momentum leading into the holiday season.

PC gaming is far from dying. The MMO universe as well as console ports has given it a fresh shot in the arm. What's killing it is development cost and piracy.
