I'll probably pick this up regardless of the review.. the game's been in limbo since the dinosaurs walked the earth.
M$ must have paid quite a shiny dime for this. Exclusive or not, gamers win. I really could care less about which platform it's heading to, I think we've waited long enough for this. The E3 is still far from over. I'm quite sure Sony will have something to respond to this. the way this is looking, it seems like square-enix is betting the farm on it.
the metion of any game outside of MGS4 would be silly but this generation is far from over. What's really crazy that if this trend towards motion sensing devices continues, the defining thing this generation isn't going to be a game but how we interact with our games. wii remote anyone?? Yuck, I feel sick..
Piracy will force many developers to leave the PC market. Companies aren't going to invest heavily in a product when the expected returns aren't nearly what they could be. We need a DRM that not only satisfies end-users but also protects IP's. The only thriving market as far as PC gaming goes will only be MMO/MMORPGS. Alot of hermits act like 2 yr olds being forced to take their medicine. We need some type of DRM if this market is ever going to get better. Right now, it isn't in my opinion. Would you want to see more software-in-a-box type games decorating retail shelves and bargin-bins or see something truely revolutionary? Consoles will bleed the PC market dry. We brag about our framerates, our detailed environments and high resolutions but on a std/hd tv (which consoles are quite able to handle), you can't tell the differences between a PS3 and a high-end PC without a magnifying glass. consoles will be the future.
that's one option that i'm still going to pursue after my pockets heal a little bit.. i ended up reseating te hs/f, using coolmaster thermal paste.. i checked the temps in the bios again to see if they changed. i saw heat fluctuate from 51c to 67c.. the numbers didn't seem accurate, especially when the ambient temp is a constant 24c.. if i remember the threshold for proc, isn't 70~80C? When this error occured before, the temp climbed as high as 112c until i shut i down myself to avoid burning out the proc.. 70~80c versus 112c and above.. no this certainly was right.. I gooled my proc & mobo combo and foundother users having the same problem.. the temps that the bios ae wrong.. I any of you ar having the same problem, download realtemp..if will not only show the temp of your proc bt all 4 cores as well. turns out my proc was actually idle at 38C and 41~43c under full load.
