You're saying the Gamecube and XBOX were better looking? I would disagree. Also, it could play DVD movies out of the box instead of having to buy a kit like the XBOX did.

The PS2 was the weakest of the three, factually. The GC had some games released early in its life that push almost all PS2 games into the dust visually. However, that doesn't matter one bit anyway.

It's had some truly brilliant looking games. Epic Yarn is still, IMO, the best-looking game of this generation next to FFXIII. So they've done something right. Skyward Sword looks amazing, from my perspective, I can't believe there's another WW-fiasco going on here.

Dark Souls will most likely to me be much better than Skyrim. But not because it doesn't have DLC. No, just because Demon's Souls was better than anything I've played from Bethesda. Bethesda will rather have to improve the core game first before they truly impress me.

Most Wii games aren't ugly. Even though they're not HD doesn't mean they're visual design isn't appealing. Epic Yarn looks miles better than Killzone 3 ever will. Anyway, I really didn't like how Fallout 3 looked. It was just... awful. Metroid Prime Hunters also hurt my eyes.

Why in the world is Dark Souls not on that list? It's one of the biggest ARPGs being released in the next months.

Regardless of how little you liked it, you should really look into some of the more awful games released this gen. Dead Space Ignition, for example, is eye-gougingly awful.

You can push your flawed logic that the game is aimed at 10 year olds all you want, but it won't make it any less flawed.

The game says 10+ on the box!That means parents are supposed to be able to leave their 10 year old kids alone with the game without supervision.

While the game isn't intended soley for 10 year olds, 10 year olds are indeed a big part of the demographic Nintendo intends to sell the game to. Anyone else playing it is playing down to a pre-teen child's level; in terms of simple gameplay mechanics, by-the-numbers fairy tale story, enemy design, level design... a ten year old is considered fit to experience it, according to THEIR logic/reasoning. Not mine.

If you can remain amused by a game suited for a pre-teen, good for you, I guess. Santa may even bring you your copy if you fit in a few good deeds before the end of the year. I'm routing for you...

I like the fact that you think the ESRB define what is and isn't kids material. SMG2, an E game, has IMO the best design of any game this generation. Oh, but I'm supposedly at a "pre-school" level at that point. Herp-de-derp.

And? There are plenty of series that are aimed at "children," yet that doesn't stop teenagers, adults, ect from enjoying them. Look at that horrible cartoon My Little Pony. It's aimed at 10 year old girls, but it's majority fanbase is 18-24 year old males.
