It's sad to see that a dev's work is being pirated so liberally. Hopefully someone in the future will find a system that actually acts against piracy, unlike much of the things some publishers have been trying.

Never heard art king. I'm glad people are stopping for just a moment to think about art design but it's a clear subset of graphics, which is a term over the visual aspect of a game. It should rather be tech king and art king instead. I only mind the overall design, so based on that, I'm pretty sure I'll think FFXIII-2 will come out on top, like XIII did last year for me.
its funny to see how many people are listing dragon age 2 as one of the worst RPGs. it wasn't the best, but there is no way you can honestly think it's the WORST unless you're just going by what you've read on the internet and haven't actually played it.

I think it's mostly because people don't buy the reputedly awful ones. Most just skip games like Two Worlds etc. because they can see it sucks from far off. I have no opinion about DA2, but many bought the game due to their expectations, so disappointment is a factor.
I usually don't buy games I don't like in some matter, so I'll name my top 5 best and then some that disappointed me some:
Best:
1. The World Ends With You - A prime example of the genre, smart, varied and cool.
2. Demon's Souls - Incredibly hard, but inversely very satisfying. Haven't played enough Dark Souls to judge that one.
3. Mass Effect 2 - It had a rather weak story but I loved the setting and the overall gameplay.
4. Xenoblade Chronicles - An instant cIassic, creative and addictive.
5. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - The handheld KH I was waiting for, big, fun and charming.
Disappointing:
Fallout 3 comes to mind. It was interesting at points and not bad, IMO, but it had a lot of dull moments.
Mario and Luigi: Partner's in Time also had its moments, but the enemies of the game took way too long to kill and it didn't have the first game's zing.
The spaceship section in Resistance 2 with all those invisible aliens. That just annoyed me to no end.
[QUOTE="calvinsora"]No, they're not "acting" grown-up, they are grown-up. CoD, I find, is dreadfully boring. Repetitive missions, short storyline, unfocused multiplayer, unclever premise, and twitchy controls. SMG is brilliantly designed, with a clear focus on fun, not being mature. I'm not pretending, and if you continue to claim so, you will be lying every time about something you have no clue about, aka my own individual self. Get off your high horse and learn that fun isn't bound by age, but by what you prefer the most. And my quote, at least, is from Clive Staples Lewis.Brodomski*Looks at avatar.* "Look at me! I love artsy games that don't force-feed the story, and you don't need a high-budget and guns and explosions to make a good game, and blah, blah, blah." And sorry, I get stupid people confused with child molestors.
It's ironic that you're being the most childish person here :P Your trolling; it is obvious.

[QUOTE="Brodomski"] Yes, I've heard the Lewis Carroll quote a million times before, but people are just trying to act grown up by pretending not to care and by pretending to have fun with the game. It's just not fun to play, has too many repeat missions, is too easy, and is really boring. Call of Duty delivers constant excitement at every turn, but the "REAL grown ups" prefer kiddy games like Super Mario Galaxy.madsnakehhh

C'mon men, do not feed the troll.
I just can't help it sometimes :P
[QUOTE="calvinsora"]You could say the same about Zelda. SMG is, IMO, the most fun game to come out this generation (2 to be exact), and it's not because I like to be considered mature. It's that it's immature to divide things into childish and mature where the true problem lies. You shouldn't have to be preoccupied with such silliness when you've grown up.BrodomskiYes, I've heard the Lewis Carroll quote a million times before, but people are just trying to act grown up by pretending not to care and by pretending to have fun with the game.
