When Nintendo does something it's okay. When some other company does the same exact thing...it's not okay. Heck even when a company gives you the same innovation as Nintendo it's not okay...but if Nintendo provides none then that was the best way to do. Lesson? Nintendo = always right. I'm pretty sure Sony fanboys would defend the Vita if it had this battery life. This isn't OK, but this isn't the disaster many make it out to be.

It's longer if you turn off the 3D or take it off max brightness. But either way, there are only a precious few instances where I need the 3DS consistently for over 3 hours, and I have a PSP too. Not a big problem. I would love a longer battery life, but it's not crippling for me.

Exclusively, I'd go with the Wii. But the most interesting games I'll be getting this year are multiplats.

You can't directly compare cross platform, especially if they aren't equivalent. Scores are relative not absolute.

Super Meat Boy is a PC/360 game, you just acquire it through online services. The score is price-relative, which makes it still eligible for comparison. Not that I think that the infamous spreadsheet is anything but a way for PC elitists (or any other fanboys) to claim that their system is better, but SMB is by definition a game for its system.

Why do you emphasize GAMES? Because if we're talking about GAMES, Nintendo is the GAME company that's made the most GAMER'S GAMES through the generations, with focus on fun and playability, not story and technology. Still, that's just my opinion, as that is yours.

Not while it isn't a universal service. It wouldn't work as of now in my country, and won't for a long time. Our internet service is woefully lacking. Also, there is very little that is definite about gaming future.

There are lots of people that don't like WRPGs, I don't like them in general (though there are rare exceptions, i.e. almost anything made by Bioware), but I prefer JRPGs. However, note that this is a mostly western site, it's not unusual that there are more people that like WRPGs here.

Obliterates is not the word I would use, but of course the technological aspects of the PC beat the consoles, that's pretty straight-forward. It's an empty statement, though, as you say, it's about how developers use the technology.

I prefer one system over the other for the only reason one should prefer a system: for the library of games. Which is why my preference goes like so;

DS, then PS3, then Wii, then PSP.

Which planet do you live on? There is a lot of discussion about all of those games, heck, there are even threads about Demon's Souls. And word of mouth doesn't equal memorability. I still remember Demon's Souls and MGS4 very fondly, they're amazing to this day.
