Way too many people are obsessed with technology, forgetting that it's simply the developers that work with the system that can bring the goods.

ChubbyGuy40

What if we like cutting-edge graphics that current-gen consoles don't provide anymore?

I like that too, that doesn't mean that the lack of it constitutes a bad system.

Why listen to IGN? Anyway, they had a silly one game per franchise rule, which I honestly don't get. It's my fourth favorite game of all time, of course I'd personally include it. My top 10 games of this generation are:

1. Super Mario Galaxy 2
2. MGS4
3. Mass Effect 2 (liable to change in retrospect)
4. Super Meat Boy
5. Demon's Souls
6. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together
7. The World Ends With You
8. Uncharted 2
9. Braid
10. Persona 4

However, Angry Birds is a genuinely fantastic game, simplistic as it may be.

2 GC duct taped together? That's nothing like what the Wii is. The Wii U will be significantly more powerful than the Wii, not that that's anything I find to be vital. Way too many people are obsessed with technology, forgetting that it's simply the developers that work with the system that can bring the goods.

[QUOTE="khoofia_pika"][QUOTE="charizard1605"]It's funny, cause you have Sony stuff plastered all over YOUR profile, avatar and sig.

rasengan2552

haha, owned. :P

difference between me and you guys is that im not loyal to one company, Im not afraid to call a spade a spade, and I don't let blind fanboy urges get in the way of my objective views. SSBB is not a fighter. You can argue it all you want but its simply not. Lacks everything that makes a decent fighter.

Also go to any prestigious fighting tournament looking for a SSBB booth and you'll look like a fool. 8 year olds can pick up that game and stand a chance against a veteran Brawl player, thats as casual as it gets.

Knowing both Char and Pika, I know first-hand that they're not loyalists to any company.

And I thought I already told you that SSB is a fighter whether you like it or not by definition. You may think it lacks what makes a *good* fighter, but that doesn't change the irrefutable fact that SSB is a fighter, nothing else.

If by great than you mean a middling shooter withdumbed-down RPG elements and themost basic dialogue decisions than yeah, I guess we'll see just how great it really is: mediocre as all hell.

Pegalamp

It has changed. And the DS was the first system of this generation, released in 2004. It being a handheld changes nothing.

calvinsora

Yes it does the DS was still one gen behind when it came out like all other Nintendo handhelds.

You do realize ME3 is not supposed to be an rpg right?

No, it doesn't. Generation is not based on technology, it's based on chronology. I repeat, technological prowess has nothing to do with what generation it is, that is a mistake that is commonly made around the internet.

That's ridiculously harsh. Not only are used games sales a legal practice, but having only one usable save and not being able to reset it is also inconvenient for people that like replaying games. Heck, it DESTROYS the replay value of the game itself. An awful decision, I hope they shy away from it in the future.

lordlors

If you go for technicalities, it is similar to Starcraft 2. With one game you only get one profile. You can't delete your profile and create a new one to erase records, win/loss streaks, etc. If you want a new different profile you need to buy another game but you still can't delete a profile. SC2 is also an MP game but it's an entirely different game though. So i guess it depends on the game too huh?

A bit, yeah. It would then be more dependant on whether or not the game is mission-based for its story or just one narrative. It would be incredibly inconvenient for the latter.
