@Techn1c4l: I picked this up on sale for 10 bucks over Black Friday. While I'm definitely happy with the game, I thought I was just inexperienced and sucked at it. Good to know other people found it a little too difficult. I am definitely happy that they are unlocking all characters, freaking great for us few newcomers.
@SonictheHeg: I'm with you. I never want lose my ability to trade in or sell a game that I don't care for. Just too many variables that I don't like with digital only.
@Thanatos2k: What do they have to do with developers?!?! If the studio is forking over all this money to voice actors, I HIGHLY doubt they'll improve the salaries for the developers! It's all ONE product, thus when money is forked over to one area, it's not going to another area (the developers).
@Thanatos2k: 200 dollars an hour is hardly screwed. My attitude is, maybe you should make sure others are taken care of before trying to go out and do a cash grab for yourself. If what I read before was true, they were wanting a percentage of the game's sales. That seems like a little much, basically capitalizing on the hard work of many others.
@Thanatos2k: I get that, but that's kind of my point. Developers, the main reason a game can even exist, should be taken care of first and foremost. I think it's kind of a crappy thing to complain about not making enough money when you literally work a slight fraction that many developers work on the same product. Now if the developers were being over compensated, okay, go complain. The game industry is so volatile, I don't see how you can come up with a set solution to all of this.
Let's be honest, while the voice of a character is important, without a good game behind the character; no one would care. In this day and age, with game studios closing left and right and developers working ridiculous hours; how can these people complain that they're being under compensated? Maybe I'm just clueless, but I feel that there's a lot more work put in elsewhere that is underpaid.
@thecman25: I haven't seen a single ad yet for the PSVR. I think the combination of being new and the stock not being built up quite yet will probably keep that from happening.
