I’m kind of thinking things like this are borderline disrespectful. If you don’t follow ANY source material, why even say it’s a Joker film? Because the name and brand is guaranteed to give you a leg up in earnings? I’m not completely dismissing the movie, but I could see real fans being mad about this. Almost makes me think of Deadpool from Wolverine Origins
This is not going to bring back old players. I was one of those old players, I paid the full price for the game and full price for the annual pass which is now all free. Those of us who supported the game from the get go kind of got shafted here. Bungie/Activision said you couldn’t play The Forsaken without the first bunch of additional content, people complained, and got what so many other people paid for at the cost of nothing.
So the problem where those of us who paid for the first expansion and then refused to pay more, still exists.
It has nothing to do with friends falling into certain categories. My friends and I have very different tastes, but when a game has substance and is a complete game, we can enjoy it. This has to do with a half-assed game with very little content and EA/BioWare continuously not listening to the fan base when it comes to fixing the loot system. You showed off a demo that was essentially a lie and now you’re paying for it... end of story.
@HOLYSHMUCK: You could buy skins and heads separately on Borderlands 2? I legitimately did not know this, I just thought everything extra came with the DLC.
@johnny0779: Agreed. As if the grind issue wasn’t enough, now you have the potential of all your effort being a complete waste if the server goes down. No thanks.
