and yeah, i guess MS are keeping all their future games under wraps but i believe that is a bad idea for prospective buyers

well bioshock will almost be guaranteed to come to PC seeing as the original came out on PC first (I know it isnt guaranteed but i would put all my money on it), ME i bet will be a time exclusive. Splinter cell and Alan wake are definitely coming to PC

Alan Wake is coming to PC. Therefore, the list doesnt look that hot. The two halo games 'might' be amazing but i bet they could also flop.

Exactly. Although that's kind of off-putting when deciding on buying a console. PS3 games might be revealed too early but at least you know they are coming.

True. At the moment the Xbox owns the PS3 by a landslide. Althought I am all about investing and looking into the future as current games will soon get old and boring. And, going by how the PS3 is marketing their games, it makes it appear as 2009 is a much more powerful year for the PS3 than the Xbox

No need to be rude. The initial purpose of this topic was for someone to simply list all the Xbox 09 exclusives. It naturally has spun off. All I'm trying to do is to find someone to fully justify getting an Xbox based on next years exclusives. Besides, I would love to have an Xbox based on the fact that I have a faulty one and therefore already have plenty of games, friends on LIVE, gamerscore, about 7 months left of Xbox live accessories etc.

Sony announces games and then usually makes you wait 3-5 years to play them. Like GT5 and GoW3.

I'm worried because buying a console is a fairly big deal and can be seen as an investment. If a console has good games coming out now but not in the future then it would be a bit silly to purchase it. PS3 has a great future lineup and seeing as you would be playing you're console for years to come, I believe future line ups are important

I know there are no shortage, heck, I have a 360 atm although it has the RROD and out of warranty so I am now deciding between an Elite or a PS3. It just seems Xbox only has a few decent exclusives. The Halo franchise (which will all be the same), Gears (which will probably come to PC), Forza (PS3 has GT5) and others that arent quite as big seem to be the only reason for buying an Xbox.

The PS3 has Killzone (exclusive), Resistance (exclusive), LBP (Exclusive), HOME (which I am actually looking forward to) and alot more great games that i cant remember from other topics.

If you have a gaming PC like me then it seems a bit pointless to have an Xbox aswell. 2 weeks ago I would have agreed with you although now being back to square one, it actually seems like the PS3 is better. PLUS i have a PSP so the linkage bewteen the two would be good.

The whole point of this topic is that the PS3s 2009 lineup appears better than Xbox's.
