[QUOTE="heretrix"]I've got plenty to play in 2008. I don't know why people worry about this crap. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to have the time to play the games coming out THIS MONTH.heretrix

I'm worried because buying a console is a fairly big deal and can be seen as an investment. If a console has good games coming out now but not in the future then it would be a bit silly to purchase it. PS3 has a great future lineup and seeing as you would be playing you're console for years to come, I believe future line ups are important

Dude, the 360 has a massive game library. THere is no shortage of games to play. Also there is XBLA which people always overlook. That's a pretty weak argument. If you want a PS3, buy one, but don't give yourself silly excuses not to get a 360. It's a complete waste of everybody's time if you don't want one in the first place.

I know there are no shortage, heck, I have a 360 atm although it has the RROD and out of warranty so I am now deciding between an Elite or a PS3. It just seems Xbox only has a few decent exclusives. The Halo franchise (which will all be the same), Gears (which will probably come to PC), Forza (PS3 has GT5) and others that arent quite as big seem to be the only reason for buying an Xbox.

The PS3 has Killzone (exclusive), Resistance (exclusive), LBP (Exclusive), HOME (which I am actually looking forward to) and alot more great games that i cant remember from other topics.

If you have a gaming PC like me then it seems a bit pointless to have an Xbox aswell. 2 weeks ago I would have agreed with you although now being back to square one, it actually seems like the PS3 is better. PLUS i have a PSP so the linkage bewteen the two would be good.

Problem with all the games already listed is that they are either multi platform, ( i have a kick ass gaming pc so i would just buy em on that) or are simply halo games.

I guess MS are keeping them in secret (or at least i hope so :S)

There have been plenty of topics about PS3's 2009 lineup and also about this holiday season and tbh, it seems the Xbox's only killer games for 08/09 is Gears 2, Banjo (if you want), and Fable while the PS3 seems to have a whole load of games.

If someone could just list some 360 2009 exclusives that would be nice :)

You're the guy that asked if Resistance would go to Xbox 360. No, they won't.

Home is being developed by Sony. And it's probably never coming out, anyways.

lol don't listen to 'sony the champ0' at all. Fanboyism? I think so.

Its $50 or £30 a year to play online but thats gives you online access to all games and a whole load of other stuff. Plus, you're XBOX would have come with a headset, PS3s dont have a headset and that remark about paying monthly is complete bull-twaddle.

I am in the EXACT same boat as the TC. I had an Xbox which broke last week due to RROD, so I am therefore now contemplating between the two. They both make such good arguments lol

I see the reasons for buying an Xbox are for the price, Live (£30 a year is nothing. It's like buying a pair of headphones.), better exclusives AT THE MOMENT.

PS3 has the advatange of free online (even if it is worse), Blu-Ray, and better FUTURE exclusives

I believe the PS3's FUTURE lineup looks a lot hotter than the Xbox's but then I have seen many topics promoting PS3's future exclusives lineup although not many promoting the Xbox's, so if someone could post a list of Xbox's exclusives for next year that would be great.
