Seriously, I don't see why pple are still talking about this shooting. It's a dumb argument and nobody is looking at what the real trigger for this was (it was neither guns nor videogames). Can't anyone just accept that some kid just went crazy, and that his mom failed to notice and/or do anything about it? I don't even see why there are still articles about this crap...it's over and done with.

No one's passing blame, but when you pin the shooting on two things that had no effect on the mind of the shooter (guns and videogames) then that would be kinda' hypocritical wouldn't it?

I just don't get it, the comments on this article are baffling to me, just like this whole situation. I don't know what's worst: pple in comments insulting and bashing Americans or pple actually defending this crap. I don't care what anyone else says, owning guns is part of the CONSTITUTION. Pple have been shooting other pple since guns were first invented, same way the pple from ancient times had been killing each other with swords whatnot. The point pple is failing to realize is that PPLE KILL PPLE. It's been that way since the beginning of time. Now, I do not own a gun, but I do respect pple's right to own them if they want them.

Guns can't fire themselves, their responsibility goes as far as the responsibility of the man/woman holding them. And if they end up in the hands of an insane person? So what..shit happens, I feel bad that an ordeal like that happened, but the blame falls on the shooter and his mother, period.

And as someone stated before guns CAN be used for protection, now i agree that you don't need a rifle to make your point, but if thieves break into your house what are you going to do? How are you going to defend yourself against potentially armed individuals, because criminals can get their hands on guns much easier than we can.

So when parents buy their kids videogames are they blind? Because its not like they don't have that nice, readable M-rating on the case.

I'm not pro-guns but I do support the 2nd Amendment. Instead of pple pointing the finger at someone else, why not just blame the shooter? Guns are also meant to protect, if we go by your logic then we should make our police officers and soldiers use mace and clubs. Banning and restricting guns won't do any good, criminals and lunatics can just as easily get them illegally. I'm not saying that I think civilians should have guns, but I am saying that pple are trying desperately to find a scapegoat. You don't need a gun to kill pple, there are lots of objects you can use to take someone's life: should we ban knives, chainsaws, axes, bats, and hammers? What about chemicals, medicines, and cars? You can commit murders with those things as well. Should we get rid of those too? The fact is, our own Constitution allows us to have guns, don't like it move to another country. And like I stated earlier, it's the killer's fault for the shooting not guns, guns are just objects.

Lol at the pple who think violent video games are a problem. And I miss the days when parents were responsible for raising children, not: videogames, movies, tv, books, etc.

The pple who agree with all this scapegoating BS are just plain stupid, srry if I offend anyone..

Although I hate that Bioware is looking at Skyrim for inspiration, rather than looking back at Origins, I do have faith in the fact that they can make great games if they wanted to. I am excited for DA3 and I just hope they take inspiration from the good aspects of Skyrim.

@KENNYKENNEDY

Took the words right out of my mouth, Idc how bad pple thought ME3 and DA2 were I enjoyed the hell out of those games.

It's lame that pple still complain about 2 games that weren't up to their expectations, but if these very same pple were really fans of Bioware, they would have appreciated the games for what they were.
