The reason why many developers are trying to expand their fanbase is because 'hard-core' fans really don't bring in much money....You guys pick over everything, and then refuse to buy if you see one or two things you don't like, there's nothing wrong with trying something new as long as it's for the better, and I would say that DS 3 is a pretty good game.
Come on guys, you have to realize that it is a business, these guys need to eat too..some pple here are reasonable but most of you just sound like Visceral shot your gf and ransacked your home! They wanted to do something different with their series so they took a gamble, and micro-transactions aren't that bad, it's not like they're forcing you to spend extra money.
You're right I would buy it based on past experiences, but I'm not gonna' compare it..
I loved DA 2 despite its differences to DA1 was, I loved ME1, 2, and 3 despite how they changed from each other, I enjoyed Fable 3 despite how much it was changed from the previous two, even though I will admit that it did have many problems, I judged it based on the experience it already offered.
I don't think they sold out at all, and I don't even think there was a need for them to explain themselves, DS3 is a decent game, and it's a bit unfair to compare it to the previous ones.
If you wanna' judge it, go by what the game already IS and not what it WAS.
RARE screwed themselves, Idk why pple place the blame on MS, if RARE wanted to save their hides thy should have made quality material.
RARE crapped out crap..plain and simple, Idk what console you guys take up with (maybe Sony since that's where the most trolls come from) but any company that gets blown out is becus of THEIR OWN incompetence.
Lol, how many cry-babies bashed this game because of microtransactions that YOU DONT HAVE TO USE, failed to realize there is a classic mode (after complaining about it being too easy), said it was not like the previous DS's (DUH it's a sequel, it's supposed to be different).
This is a prime example of why developers don't give a s*** about gamers, because all 'hard-core' gamers know how to do is complain needlessly and dont know how to STFU and enjoy the game.
Why attack anybody? I don't see why they are suing Valve, because you don't 'own' anything you buy from Steam, all you are getting is data, Steam still owns the rights, the consumer just own the right to PLAY the game.
