I didn't think they were bitching, I mean it's pretty obvious that consoles can only do so much. The visuals of the PS4 weren't that impressive, but they looked crispier, and the NextBox will probably get a graphics boost as well.
It's not like next gen consoles will be on par with high-end PC's.... At the very most they may be close to decent, inexpensive rigs. They are simply saying that the changes in graphics will be subtle, and judging from the PS4 previews they may be right.
And besides...EA using their Frostbite engine for ME4 and DA3, so I think Bioware can finally make a visually stunning game.
Idk, the PC is cool and all but I think it's overrated, I don't see why PC-users try to pass it off as the supreme ideology of gaming...From what I see, the only advantages are graphics and processing power, both are things that can be achieved by consoles.
I wonder how many pple have actually played this game? Or any of the previous Crysis games?
I also wonder how many pple actually formulated their opinion on their own, without consulting with a reviewer who obviously doesn't like shooters of any kind...
Basically, you have to have knowledge on HOW to make blockbuster games to be able to have the best insight on what makes a game worthwhile and sellable.
Now, he didn't say that your insight isn't good, he's just saying that Cliffy is a tad more smarter than you on this subject.
With the way things are going MS wont drop the Gold subscription, but I don't see the problem with that.
But maybe that's becus I play mostly single-player games anyway, I only use XBL for updates and too buy DLC. However, I'm willing to bet that PSN is gonna' have subscriptions with the PS4 anyway *note* this is only my opinion.
