Well...if EA isn't out of business, PEOPLE MUST be buying their games...just putting it out there.

Wow...I guess I need to become a transexual, especially if I'm a straight male who's holding back the industry>

@Daian @Liquid_

Buying a game based off what someone else says warrants the same effect...

Saints Row 2 had plenty of humor...but it had some nice emotional moments as well, what Saints Row 3 didn't have was a good plot...

I wouldn't say its a clone, but it did have/do some things that GTA didn't so it's kinda unfair to compare them, it's like comparing COD to Halo or comparing FF to TES, they are each great in they're unique ways now with that being said..

SR has always had a high level of craziness, they didn't have to amp it up to the extreme. Unlike GTA, it had a nice mixture of serious and humor and that worked for them, and the gang concept of it was awesome, but I think they messed up a good thing by changing they're usual style.

SR3 was good, don't get me wrong, I just think that when it came to the plot SR1 & 2 were superior.

I understand Saints Row used to be a great series, but there's a reason why SR1 and 2 were great that's because it had a good balance of dramatic seriousness and over-the-top funniness, they first two SR games knew how to balance those things out, but this new one looks like it's almost too over-the-top.

I'm not gonna' bash this game before it comes out, but I am concerned, I'm all down for focusing on the unique aspects of a series, but there's a fine line between highlighting it and overdoing it.

I liked the whole gangsta' feel of taking over the streets and being the top dog, it felt old-school and I liked that. I hate that they took that concept and burned it =/

I'm gonna' go ahead to say it...but I don't care if EA puts microtransactions in their games, what the **** do they have to do with me? I'm most likely not gonna' buy them, so why the **** would I care about what they put in their games. I kinda' wish EA just went full ahead with what they wanted to do anyway. I may be one person but I would still support them, if they have a game I want then I'm gonna' play it no matter what...**** what anybody else thinks. I swear gaming has become a cesspool of belligerent, biased babies and whiners. I hope every developer/publisher adopts micro-transactions just to spite 'hardcore' gamers.

@scottmbruner

I believe games are fine where they are, there's no need to mix in PC and hidden agendas.

With that being said...if you bothered to actually read the comments, you would know that some are just pointing out the flaws in Petit's interpretation..so far I've read nothing hateful in the comments
