Rumble adds a lot to the gaming experience. I appreciate both the DualShock 4 and X1 controller for this. But how do people who use keyboard and mouse cope without it? I can't imagine playing a sports game without feeling the hits or playing an FPS and not feel that explosion nearby. Imagine MGS 5 without rumble? Just wouldn't feel the same to me.

I fail to see how shitty rumble conveys this. I much prefer the deep thuddy bass from my surround sound speakers if I want this effect. I never liked rumble, and I think the 360 controller supports rumble anyways. As for FPSs, the accuracy of the mouse more than makes up for not having some crappy shaking sensation.

What a disgraceful piece of shit. Hope Epic gets their way.

Well, first off, Epic isn't trying to censor the game whatsoever. They made that very clear in their statement. They're not denying these guys permission to use UE4, they just requested that they remove the UE4 logo in their marketing so as to not give the impression that Epic published it or something. The game could be good, although it may just be a generic twin stick shooter that they knew they wouldn't get any attention as yet another twin stick zombie shooter, so they decided to make a name by doing this. Who knows? The game looks decent and frankly, I don't see how this is all that different than rampaging through GTA or Watch Dogs.

Impossible to tell if this is coming on GC, 360 or current gen. What the f*ck are those graphics? If it wasn't id tech 5 this game could've been very atmospheric but instead we get nothing else but muddy textures

Of course, because muddy textures stop a game being atmospheric...right?

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so jarring. On the one hand you have some really nice texture work in some areas, but others are just giant splotches of blurriness. It creates a weird contrast, not to mention, older games were also played at far lower resolutions, so poor texture work wasn't as noticeable.

IdTech 5 is just a terrible engine.

$1,000 cpu lol

Like you need that for this game xD

Any decent CPU released in the last 5 years would suffice. You'd have to be pretty cheap to get a CPU as crappy as the PS4s for a desktop PC

Tell me what level of cpu you need to prevent bottlenecking of the 750ti. Seems like gpu's are advancing at a much faster rate than cpu's so my guess is that a mid range gpu would need a fairly high end cpu to see the gpu's max potential.

Depends on the game.

The FX 6100 is a ~80€ CPU and still is enough for 120 fps average

Pretty clear from that graph that it takes an incredibly shitty CPU to bottleneck the game to even 60fps, let alone 30fps. I really can't explain why it performs so horribly on the next gen consoles. Even with their crappy netbook CPUs, they can't seriously be THAT bad--I mean, this is a game with nothing but incredibly tight corridors and closed ship interiors with little AI.

I've never been able to get into the series. The controls bother me considerably. Even Shadow of Mordor annoys me a bit with its AssCreed like platforming, although it does it better.

The camera looks wonky as hell, with an annoying tendency to place opponents on the left side of the character. The combat looks incredibly simplistic and boring (button mashing mainly), and this is only reinforced by the two or three animations that are constantly being reused--this is gonna annoy people who are used to Arkham/Mordor/AssCreed style combat. Now you might say, well Dark Souls didn't get maligned for that, but Dark Souls had unique animations for every single weapon type, and you were never able to button mash in Dark Souls so it didn't come off as being so repetitive.

The graphics looks nice though, even if the art style is pretty damn meh.
