@Cobra_nVidia: Download smcFanControl. It gives you control over the fans in your mac.

Anything for Windows? My Case has a setting High and low

ASUS has a fan control program, but I personally would just get an external fan controller. I use an AeroCool one that I got for, I think $25. Works amazingly well. This one

I enjoyed Asylum the most myself. It was a focused, Metroidvania experience and had the best story of any of them by far. City is great and if you prefer open world games, I'd go with it first. Origins is pretty much the exact same as City, but prettier and with a more focused story.

@cfisher2833: Are these old Battlefront screenshots? because i thought online got shutdown

No, just the Gamespy servers shut down. There's still quite a few private servers. Overall, it's been a pretty pleasant experience. I can usually find a game or two, and more during peak hours; I haven't noticed any lag. It's weird going back to the game though--just odd playing a shooter with so little weapon feedback. Still fun, but just something I noticed was odd.

Watch_Dogs fans, get ready for a treat. TheWorse, MaLDo and VAAS have combined their amazing skills and have released a new mod for Ubisoft’s open world title. This is a must have mod and highly recommend using it as it brings a lot of improvements.

Those interested can download the mod from here or from here if Guru3D goes down.

Here is the changelog for this new version of TheWorse’s mod:

-You’ll be able to choose if you want a light dof, a strong dof or to be default (disabled) Thanks to VAAS for doing a great job!

-You’ll be able to choose different bloom presets (E3 Bloom, Light Bloom or default)

-You’ll be able to choose different types of colorgrading( E3, Default, Red-Ish or Blue-Ish)

-You’ll be able to choose if you want default lensflares, anamorphic lensflares or SpotLight Volumes (Volumetric light)

-You’ll be able to use a texture patch made by MalDo (Thank you so much!) for reducing stuttering!

-Headlight shadows have been fixed

-Lighting have been changed

-Pharmacy Lighting have been slighly changed.

-E3 Wind environment added

-Particle respawn time reduced to be able to see more fog and smoke in streets.

-Problems and Bugs related to HDR should be fixed

-Fully integrated to Ubisoft’s patch (No effects or shaders have been disabled)

-Included several high textures from the game to be used instead of low quality ones.

-Rain, bloom, ssao changes

Here are some installation instructions:

1-Download the file, decompress the rar in any folder you want.

2-Open the config file located in “WDT_Data/config/WDTConfig.cfg

3-Place your Game_Path For example Game_Path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Watch_Dogs\

4-Save the file and open the tool exe “WDTooL.exe”

5-Select your settings and press the tick button to apply changes

6-If something is stuck press the middle button to reset the settings

7-If everything is ok a path.dat file will be created in your data_win64 folder

8-Enjoy the game

Batman: Arkham Origins, it's okay so far.

And that's all it is, I think as a comic book and a batman fan it has the better story of the arkham games ( though that's not saying a lot) but overall it's just a solid batman game they just loaded with stuff to do. Not great but not overly terrible. Though one section of the game feels like blegh.

**** that, Batman's a bitch in this.

New voice guy is lame, he actually says smart mouth shit that is like No, batman doesn't do this, there are moments where he is talking to himself saying the most obvious shit. The other games had actual Batman: Kevin Conroy. Not this asshole in a Batman suit.

Well what can you do? I don't sit and bitch about every aspect of everything. I hated the voice at first but adjusted and thought the game was fine. Get through it and let me know what you think.

I mean it's aight so far. It looks like they made more Batman, as oppose to better Batman (Which is what Arkham Knight looks like).

Combat is still satisfying for what it is, and the stealth stuff is still mostly enjoyable. Although I think the encounter designs are lazier. Like a lot of just feels like the people making the game got the code for the franchise, but don't understand the nuance of how its the encounter designs that make the mechanics click. Some of the areas are just ordinary I walk in and beat up dudes, and the huddled up guards makes it easier to drop down, smoke bomb, and beat the shit out of them as oppose to methodically taking them down one by one so far.

On the flip side the first boss fight with Croc? not terrible. Not great or anything, but given how Rocksteady's boss fights are mostly garbage (sans Mr Freeze), this is an almost improvement.

too long; didn't read: it's fun because more Batman is still fun. It's unimpressive, because all it is, is more batman.

bingo. Well said.

Granted gertsmann isn't lookin to keen on arkham knight. Especially the vehicle stuff.

I don't really get the point of even having a batmobile in the game. It seems a hell of a lot easier to get around by flying/grappling, then driving through streets and such.

There is nothing special or innovative so far this generation, just the same old games with prettier graphics, have we come to the point where there is nothing new that developers can do, so we will play the same games in hd, ultra hd then 4k, so the next 15 years of gaming will be the same thing.

You're basing this on...what, the big "AAA" games being released by major publishers? Or are you referring to the entire industry?

Papers Please, FTL, Quadrilateral Cowboy, Chivalry Medieval Warfare, Natural Selection 2, etc etc--all very unique games with innovative mechanics
