It looks really impressive, especially in motion. The most impressive to me are the effects, which blow Star Citizen out of the water, stuff like shading on the explosion smoke and the particles, volumetric fog in the distance etc..
@cinematicgalore: I just watched a GT 6 video and like all the previous games its old tech now. The cars are almost weightless and the twitch turning featured looks awful now. The series needs remaking and rebooting and they need to look at the handling mechanics, damage, and concentrate more on select cars that a bunch of defunct models.
Twitch turning?
"UPDATE: Although these numbers were reported in official court documents, they have since been discredited. Thanks to detective work from NeoGAF and here in GTPlanet’s community, we see the judge quoted sales numbers by VIRAG in their original claims against SCEA, made in July of 2014.
Although VIRAG does not specify the source of their data, their numbers closely match those displayed by “VGChartz” in 2014 – an unofficial and notoriously unreliable website which provides rough estimates of video game sales. Therefore, the numbers reported in the court documents are unverified, outdated, and almost certainly incorrect."
Lol VGChartz
Kojima has no consistency of tone. It's funny how people compare it to like Tarantino, but Tarantino always had consistency. Like if Kojima directed a movie, it would probably go something like this:
Act 1: Omaha landings from Saving Private Ryan
Act 2: Pulp Fiction scene where Jules and Vega accidently shoot Marvin in the back of the seat and have to clean out his brains
Act 3: Scene from some James Bond movie as he tries to sneak into a mansion and gets cought up in a poker game
Act 4: Selma's execution in Dancer in the Dark
Finale: Grandpa crying in the cemetary at Omaha scene from Saving Private Ryan.
Anyone have any knowledge on the exact contents of this shareware disc? Pretty much the first thing my parents bought for me back in like 2000 or whenever. I remember there were a few cool games, one was top down game action game with a really creepy atmosphere. You were a guy with a really big head, and there were really scary monsters running around, including the final boss on the shareware version being a huge floating skull IIRC. It had like the cheap 3D model into sprite look, like Dink Smallwood or whatever.
I found out which game it was on the Gold Edition Galaxy of Game's disc, I was talking about The Adventure of Bouapha: Spooky Castle.
And another one was like playing Battlefield top down with sort of a mission. Basically you could be a soldier, or take control of any vehicle and run around on a big map and take over an enemy base. You also had friendlies and everything.
Found the second one, Zulu Assault. Some guy has a blog dedicated to the eGames collections, also has a link to a copy of the discs.
I found their Galaxy of Games collections on Internet Archive, but can't for the love of god find any info on this collection, or a download for it. Also can't find the CD anymore.
@chaplainDMK: I'm talking to a self-expressed elitist who does not participate in all aspects if gaming, That one sentence makes you an oxy-Moron.
You are such a hoot
And I guess we won't be playing your rip-off LoL's then, so sad
@chaplainDMK: Ohh I see what your line of thinking is. Console quality = teH ultra grafx.
You've made my point very well, my little n00b gamer.
Lol console quality and graphics, good one. Good to know that you think the only difference between 2001 and 2015 in gaming are graphics.
