The day you register your original XB360. They keep a record of the original SN and all repairs/replacements that fall within that one particular warranty.

you can get a 400 xbox 360 with 120gb hard drive? i dont understand the point of this thread. your comparing 2 DIFFERENT sku's. one with a hard drive and one without a hard drive. you can also get a 300 xbox 360 with a 60gb hard drive as well.

hey guys. i came and made a topic here because i can never get a straight answer from any of those guys over at xbox (on the phone). i have just one little question about sending the xbox 360 in for repair. after you send in your console for rrod and then receive a console back from microsoft, does your warranty of 3 years renew because it is a new xbox in your posession and all you have to do is register it? i just wanted to know how the warranty works on the console that you recieve back from microsoft after you send yours in for repair?

i would also like to know. sometimes they take so long. what i would do is keep calling and breaking their ***** till they send it fast.

Gears 2 does the map thing differently. Yeah, there are playlists just for the mappacks, but if everyone has a certain map, you can end up playing DLC maps on a non-dlc playlist (annex, king of the hill) for example. You don't have to have the map packs to play on the playlist, but if everyone has the map pack, there's a chance it'll get chosen as the map.
