@wvryanrucker304: You don't have to buy the base game, OR the DLC. No one is holding a gun to your head, sir.

@rlg5150: they most assuredly can, and do build a DLC expac in three months. Not a Taken King kind of DLC, but a new level or three, new items and quests? IF the tools pipeline is solid, that's pretty easily doable.

I have it. I'm trying it, but it's literally the same exact thing as D1. They didn't really fix anything. Just more o' the same, which is fine if you like it. I don't get the draw.

The game no one asked for got a sequel no one asked for. Why, Sony? Why? Did you have to bring this out as an homage to PS1-era "Polygon man" (who was edgy af tbh)?

@ice12tray: Arms and Splatoon and WiiU re-releases? meh. BotW was great (but also available on WiiU). Mario looks to be the only top-notch Switch Exclusive this year. This game could've been legend but effing 3DS? Us 2D metroid fans have been waiting decades for a proper Metroid and we have to play it on a screen the size of my left nut? Just no.

@ocidax: Great point, but then I think of all the greatness PS4 has put out the past year and it makes me think that you're only partially right.
