@MonkeyKinght98 @chronocommander Thanks! Either the vid was posted before or the new layout sent me to the vid instead of the article, either way, sorry for the outburst, video only articles are becoming more common and drive me nuts for the reasons in my first post.

Please for the love of God have a writeup with the key points so people who have limited time or with slower internet connections can at least get the gist of what is in the video without wasting the time to stream it and see the quality go all wonky and not be able to properly seek through the vid! Video only articles don't work for a lot of people!

Great news! Any idea if the online GFWL saves are preserved?

All these half-baked sequels, the answer to Capcom's problems is obvious: new, fresh franchises or a focus on smaller games that have great gameplay on PC and handhelds and bring the successful experimental mechanics over to their AAA titles.

@BranKetra I think his bigger concern was for the complete denial of risk-taking by the company and possible corporate meddling in all he was doing. His views on Japanese game development certainly did not keep him popular at Capcom as evidenced by the anti-Inafune witch hunt at Capcom before, during and after his departure. Ah well, at least he's got his own company working on his own games well supported by the public now :)

@ninjaroach81 @chronocommander Yeah, and your squadmates actually had a personality expressed in the gameplay, a far cry from the super scripted scenes with one dimensional characters we have in many cover shooters these days! Those moments when you manage to clear out the room before your squad fires a single shot and instead of standing around like nothing happened one of them goes "Your skill is an inspiration to us all", epic, freaking epic! Nothing quite like it that I've played before or since. Glad to see there are still fans of this great game out there!

@themc_7 @chronocommander Seriously, and for a studio with such a stellar track record too! Ah well, hopefully now the studios interested in doing justice to these franchises can, let's see how things evolve, new era in console gaming after all!

@themc_7 It's easy to think that, but read this and you'll see a clearer picture of how dysfunctional an organisation LucasArts had become well before Disney took over:
