I played it 1 time and moved on. I don’t enjoy these types of multiplayer games, but am a horror fan of over 40 years. The one game I played was just uncomfortable, but I think that is a positive for the game.
Yeah, they got me with 4, which didn’t run well for a year and then 2042 which didn’t work for even longer……just wake me up 18 months after release, it may be decent by then
Just picked up Trails and it is great. I will be excited to play Y’s when it releases as well, I just picked up the last Y’s game PS5 version. Great developer that keeps putting out great games.
@santinegrete: how about asking that same question to every developer that is shut down. No, success in the real world is money made, not affection for something. BG3 is a giant success…..the next game they release that isn’t Baldurs Gate will be just as successful as Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2, which is to say that they will be masterpieces in game creation that will probably turn a slight profit
BG3 was a wonderful anomaly, but these games have a very small but dedicated audience. I have to believe developers understand this and we will see other games like it, but not many.
Yeah, I don’t think so. I think there are 2 far bigger reasons. #1 is watching movies at home, I have no interest in being in a theatre with people I don’t know when my set up is really good and I can be around family, friends, or even better, ALONE. Second reason is sites like this who just inundate you with details months and months ahead of release until I am just sick of hearing or reading about it.
