@stickemup: You are the one lacking understanding in business my friend. The size of a company does matter and one is the wealthiest company in the world and the other is 121. Microsoft may very well leave the console space, but it in no way is because of their place in it, it is by choice. When I think of Microsoft and Sony I go back to the 360 v. PS3 generation. The Red Ring of Death ended up being a Billion dollar problem, Microsoft could have said to hell with it and just bowed out then, but they paid what it cost to repair and/or replace every RRoD console. I truly believe that would have crushed Sony. To be clear, I am a PlayStation first gamer and have been since day 1, but I’m lucky enough to be able to get every console so I enjoy them all. I have just become bothered by the fanboys everywhere laughing and saying Xbox is done. This has always been their plan and they have not even been quiet about it.
@jenovaschilld: ok, so a company worth 3.1 Trillion is less than one worth 118 Billion. Gaming for Sony is a huge piece of their company, for Microsoft it is just a fraction. In the end this is what Microsoft has wanted for years and they have openly said it. They don’t care about consoles….They want Xbox on Phones, Tablets, PC’s, and PlayStation and Nintendo consoles. MS gaming will be around well after consoles are a thing of the past.
@hardwenzen: you are just another one of the SHEEP following the HEARD. The difference between you and me is I Play the Games, you just run to the forums to complain about them without ever trying it for yourself. Basically a mindless automaton and you’ll be back trying to look cool when the next game the HEARD decides to pick on……I’m guessing Skull and Bones, but that isn’t even a difficult guess, I just see what they have decided sucked years ago. We’ll see you in a few weeks, when you come back to attack that game that you will also judge, but not play.
@hardwenzen: I have enjoyed it and will continue to and since I’ve played it, which I’m absolutely positive you haven’t, I’ll go with my own opinion and before you inevitably reply, you should know your opinion means less than nothing to me.
