@HonorOfGod They advertised it as capable of doing it, that DOES NOT mean EVERY GAME would do it. They never straight up said EVERY GAME WILL ALLOW YOU TO USE THIS FEATURE. That strictly relies on the developer itself and IF they want to include that in the game. Yes you can argue that Nintendo develops most of the games, but they still have some third party developers. And I know for a fact the console is capable of playing a game without a TV because I have actually played it that way myself. Not false advertising. If they said it could be done, and then the console comes out, and it can't, and they never let people know the console would not be able to do it, then yes, false advertising. Misleading yes, but it is not a case of false advertising. People get those two concepts mixed up way too much.
@HonorOfGod @clynch0527 The only reason I haven't bought a WiiU, yet, was primarily due to the fact that I there were no good games out for it. I also knew the tablet controller would not be everything people made it out to be. Why? Research. I didn't spend $1600 building a computer without researching each part and making sure I was going to be able to use it for what I needed to.
@HonorOfGod @clynch0527 I would be smart enough to inspect the car before I buy it. Just like as a consumer looking to spend a great deal of money, shouldn't buy a product based on one commercial. They should research it first. Your argument stands invalid.
@HonorOfGod False advertisement because one person complained their console did not do what the commercial said it would do? It's common sense that not every game would support the tablet in specific ways. This does't the mean the WiiU is INCAPABLE of doing it, it just means it hasn't been done yet on the console. If the console is in fact capable of doing it, it is NOT false advertising. If it couldn't do ANY of those features AT ALL, then yes, that would be false advertising. So just because it hasn't been done, there is no reason to jump to conclusions about the console.
@HonorOfGod @Yatsukiii Thaat made no sense in response to that comment. False advertisement is saying the product does one thing, when it does another. The WiiU was not falsely advertised. It is in fact a good console, just developers don't want to develop for it. That's not on Nintendo, they released what they said they wanted to release. You bought the console on your own free will. You evidently do not care about your money.
@gilldominic @clynch0527 @skiggy29 yea, people see 60fps and are getting all hyped. while 60fps does look smoother, probably 70% of everything we watch is between 24fps to 30fps. Very rarely do you see 60fps at a native 1080p.
@skiggy29 It's got nothing to do with the specs of the ps4. The ps4 CAN handle it with ease, but like you said, the DEVELOPER went with graphics over speed.
@skiggy29 You're right, but this decision doesn't rely on Sony. It's on the devs and most of them feel that 60fps aren't necessary yet. I think right now, they just want to show off the visual processing power, and to do that, you will have to take a hit on fps, especially with capped hardware.
