@dandeeswish @clynch0527 well yea, its only going to putput 4k, on 4k. i think it comes with some movies, but then it has to connect to the SEN to get more movies.

@dandeeswish @clynch0527 its a common mistake due to the fact that sony backed it the most as well as put in more effort and funds towards it. as well as was the only company able to really sell it to people.

@dandeeswish @clynch0527 It's like not alot of people know this, but Sony and nintendo actually worked together on a disc add on for the NES. When that fell through, Sony actually went to Sega, to work on hardware using optical media, it went for a while, and also fell through.

Sony was researching a new laser technology, along with other companies.

@dandeeswish @smoke1125 @clynch0527 sony doesn;t actually OWN blu-ray. bluy ray is actually a company on it's own. The Blu-Ray Disc Association. It is made up of probably 50+ companies that support it. Sony was just kind of unofficially put in charge of it due to it being one of the first and biggest companies in developing new technology. Afterall, they brought us the walkman, portable radios, and portable tvs. You can thank them for all your ipods and mp3 players because thats where the ideas for them came from.

@smoke1125 @dandeeswish Honestly, the first Halo is what really sold the Xbox, and the huge focus on online play that sony wasn't doing. Other than that, they really had nothing else. The ps2 is actually still the highest selling console by a long shot. The original xbox still hasnt came close, and it has actually sold more than the ps3 and 360 combined.

@Harbinger_CR @clynch0527 @smoke1125 Exactly, Those two games are insane, and Naughty Dog has actually talked about Uncharted 4, and a sequel to The Last of US. You also cant forget games like Heavy Rain and the upcoming Beyond Two Souls. Im just not fond of the xbox exclusives due to the fact that when they release a new one, it's worse than the one before it. At least they are as bad as Nintendo and focus primarily on 3 or 4 games for decades. Mario is great and all, Zelda is better, but come on, bring something new to the table. Buy into more third party companies.
