@NoahRoalson @clynch0527 Its this younger call of duty generation. they have no idea what it was like back in the early days of online console gaming. its was beautiful. RIP.
@NoahRoalson Dedicated servers would be best. I honestly believe that the Rainbow Six series, starting on the Xbox, did it best. Host controlled room is where its at. I know plenty of people who had two live accounts and two xboxes, one account would be used to create a dedicated server, and the other was for them to play on said server while they were still able to manage and control the server from the server account. We need to go back to that.
@gilldominic @clynch0527 Sarcasm. Simply sarcasm. And you're right there is no reason any console should need a huge amount of RAM for the OS, but like I said, It is Microsoft. The Windows OS eats memory, which has been announced the X1 OS is based on the Win 8 OS.
@kdogji There has yet to be an Xbox game, that comes close to games like Uncharted, and The Last of Us.(6 weeks at number one and counting). Microsoft has a few good hits, and just kept making sequels because they have a good thing going for them. Sony's developers on the other hand actually create something new. David Cage (Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls) doesn't even believe in sequels and refuses to make them. I'm not saying the Xbox exclusives aren't good, but they just need to stop relying on them so much and expand more.
@EdAl2112 If it gets any slimmer, itll be a piece of paper. If you go by Sony's past at making slim line models. They tend to get considerably smaller than the first. And the ps4 dimensions have already been released. smaller than the first slim line ps3, but slightly larger than the latest slim line ps3.
@Csdabest89 @clynch0527 And take your console offline, lets see how well it does. They have to make a reliable console for those without an internet connection. You can't rely on cloud processing 100% of the time. That's pretty much saying. If you want the full power of this console, you have to have the internet, if not, well, have fun with 50% of its power, but we are still going to charge you $500.
@Ravenlore_basic @clynch0527 @LiquidGold if anything, every console copied pc. pc was the basis for all of this. its ignorant to say "well pc did this and pc did that" when referring to a console war, its pointless.
