Forza 5 - same typical racing game
Dead Rising 3 - hasnt made a good name for itself
Killer Instinct - if you can reall call this POS killer instinct
Kinect Sports Rivals - nuff said.
Ryse - The only game that looks worth playing
Ps4
DriveClub - a new breed of racing game
Killzone Shadow Fall - still killzone
Warframe - not a bad game, should try it out on steam
Daylight - looks to be like a great horror survival game
Blacklight Retribution - surprisingly a great FPS shooter, also on steam
The Order:1886 - we don't know much about this, as its the first in its series
Planetside 2 - pretty massive MMOFPS
The xbox isnt actually bring anything new, just sequels to games on the 360.
@Darknight765 That's cute. We will still bathe in the glory of knowing we have games like the Last of Us, which is an exclusive title, and is currently holding its 6th week in the #1 spot. Unique games like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. A better line up of free games offered through a premium service.
@LiquidGold So what made you decide to by your tv? your phone? your computer? your car? Apparently someone in the corporate world said or advertised something to want you to buy it. You go on like you're smart enough to not let corporate greed convince you to buy their products. Fact is, everyone is a victim of it. Everyone has a specific brand of food they buy, or a specific brand of clothes, or technology. In a way, everyone has a bit of fanboy/fangirl in them in some form or another. Don't act like it doesn't apply to you.
@Darknight765 @DiamondDM13 @malokevi Its already been announce that both consoles are using virtually the same hardware and architecture, but the PS4 is using 8gb DDR5, where as the X1 is going with 8gb DDR3. That alone is going to be a huge contrast between the performance of the two systems. And whats really going to be a big factor is heat. The ps4 has already been factored in at 5-35 degree celsius as reported by the FCC. Microsoft really has to make a big leap in that department due to the heat issues when the 360 came out. Honestly, i think all the software they like to bundle into the console running at once is what does it. And now they want to let you have games, movies, music, and apps running in the background simultaneously? I don't see that working out too well for them.
@DSCesq @DiamondDM13 @Darknight765 @pezzott1 @malokevi The thing is, the only thing that was really show for the Xbox One was Halo, Call of Duty, and TV features. Sure they showed other games, but they made a larger deal out of those three specific subjects. Poor execution by Microsoft. From a business stand point, I wish they would have done better. And I can't stand them. As of right now, the only game that has me wanting the X1, because every game they have gets old after the first two or three in the series, is Fable IV. Unless it gets announced for PC of course, then I save my self $500.
@LiquidGold 1. Though it wasn't the first online console, the PS2 was the first to go big into online console gaming.
2. Sony gives away free games with premium service, Microsoft follows suit. And you actually get more free content than Microsoft does.
3. Sony had the Eyetoy, 2 years before the 360 was released, and was actually toying with the technology years before that.
4. Sony had Metal Gear Solid, now Microsoft has it.
5. Sony had Final Fantasy, now Microsoft has it. And don't argue that Sony got it because Nintendo had it. It was Square's decision to go to Sony because they specifically said that Final Fantasy 7 would have only been possible on the PS1 as far as consoles went. It would seem that when Sony has a good franchise, Microsoft has to have it. (Crash Bandicoot, Spyro). I don't see Sony trying to buy any Microsoft or Nintendo exclusives. The companies just go to Sony.
6. Sony had the first controller on a console to offer dual analog, as well as the first handheld to offer dual analog.
Face it, Sony actually has been one of the most innovative companies in console gaming. Next to Sega of course. Atari is what really started console gaming, Nintendo expanded on it, and gave us an amazing hand held experience as well. Sega took to it and gave us sharper sprites and smoother gameplay. Then Sony comes in (not by choice, you should read the history of Sony and Nintendo), and brings us 3d graphics. Microsoft just took everything from everybody and is trying to make it seem like they are doing something new and innovative. Yes, they may have improved and added features, but that doesn't make it innovative when the general idea has already been done. Innovation is when its something new to the world. Not just improving on it.
