1280 1024

But it can`t be all resolution.

Somehow AF/AA aren`t working with HDR/Bloom?

Could someone please explain why do I see jagged edges and blocky shadows in games like COD4/5,GRID,FEAR 2....?

All the rest of the particular game looks awesome, but it is when light deflects of some surfaces the edges get screwed up.

Is there any known HDR-AA-BLOOM-AF-MONKEYBALLS thingy I`m missing?

I`m using CCC 9.2 under Vista 64 (all application controled).

I game at 1280x1024 but it`s the same at higher res.

Are my settings wrong?-I use adaptive AA and Minimap detail set on quality..

More than 25 on Very high, that`s for sure :) (-I get 20 on Very high with one 4870).

I also agree with maybe waiting for 4890 and definitely go Vista 64 over XP. (64&RAM)

Check your BIOS settings.

I had a problem with my MOBO not detecting the correct timings and voltage (eg. I had to manually set it to 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1 V)

Also set the divider accordingly.

OK, that is KIND OF what I was hoping to hear---- I thought my card was hardware defected in a RMA kind of way.

Thanks for reply !(Two such circumstances are good enough for me---waiting for better driver days...)

I get this annoying water bug (at some angles hardly noticeable, but most of time pretty damn ugly) even after the installation of Catalyst 9.2 .

It`s the same type of corrupt blending as I saw with certain type of tree in Crysis Warhead.

Now,is anyone else experiencing these with their own ATI card?

If so - does this mean the bug derives from Activision ?

If a defected card was sold to me, there will be hell to pay!

@sihunt : I tried stock clocks AND no AA or AF whatsoever.

All other games so far (and I played a fair number of them on this card) run flawlessly...- so it`s hard to belive that the card is faulty JUST for couple of games...right..?(Need some reassurance here :) as I don`t want to get in all that RMA thing..)

Also I have checked a few sites my friend Google showed me and there are others noticing similar problems.

Will try downgrading CCC from 9.1.

Fingers crossed that it`s a driver problem!

E D I T : Problem solved: I used Driver sweeper and did some fresh reinstalls

Thanks guys!
