Thank god they ditched incredibly boring and out-dated turn based combat. That boring BS is so awful, it was bad in the late 80s and 90s when we had to put up with it because the technology was primitive, but to have to play a turn based random step and fight RPG now, ugh no thanks. I mean I love pressing "A" over and over again and watching the same fight animations over a billion times during a 45hr game, its great, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I feel like playing a game too. Buy hey, if deciding when to cast a heal or a summons is the kind of high strategy that pushes your grey matter really hard don't let me pee on your cornflakes, you just do the best you can with what you have.

Hes totally right. Nintendo, and even games made for Nintendo systems, have a distinct feel to them, a simplicity and innocence that harkens back to when consoles were relatively inexpensive children's toys instead of high tech entertainment centers. I hadn't owned a Nintendo system since the SNES, then I picked up a Wii for $40.00 way after the system died so I could play Last Story and Xenoblade. As soon as I booted up the system I got that old Nintendo vibe of light hearted fun that I hadn't really gotten from video games since the SNES. Other systems and developers make great games, but Nintendo occupies its own space and I'm thankful they're still out there defying trends and making games that they believe in.

Teresa is both the sister from Fable 1 and the seer from Fable 2. Do you guys really play games? Or do you have your jobs just because you're a couple of Hollywood pretty-boys?

@sharksalsa @coolbeans1 tired cliche? Its an apt description, please avoid trying to tell people what words to use as if you are some master of literary style, your misuse of the term cliche proves you aren't. Also satire doesn't have to be effective in accomplishing change in order to be satire, I don't know where you go that idea from.

@sharksalsa @coolbeans1 Haha you're adorable the purpose is to lampooon sexism in American society, to illustrate how hateful America is (in the eyes of the writers) to women by holding up a funhouse mirror to it, i.e. satire. Please try to contain your feeble attempts at snark to situations that don't make you look like a fool.

@dutchgamer83 @coolbeans1 Once again please try to pay attention, I am not complaining about the score I am complaining about the injection of the editor's personal fixation on gender politics in a game review where they arent relevant and as a part of a larger trend on this site.
