@dutchgamer83 People are angry about the injection of politics into game reviews where they aren't relevant. GTA satirizes everything harshly, why does is the satirization of women the only thing, amongst many many many distrubing aspects of GTA, that bothers Petit? It is because she is fixated on gender politics far beyond its relevance to this game. Also this isnt an isolated incident, this site has become rife with gender politics that frankly few people aside from the editors responsible are interested in, for proof please look at the sheer volume of complaining comments. The score issue is not what people are complaining about, but nice try at a bait and switch. Please try to pay attention.

I'm so tired of everything being increasingly viewed through a feminist lense, someone please tell Carolyn Petit that GTA is gonzo satire, its aimed at lampooning misogyny not championing it. I'm pretty close to done Gamespot, it seems like every time I come here now a reviewer is wasting my time by injecting their politics into video game (!) commentary. Can we please get back to talking about game qua games?
