Every game is pretty much a rehash or has been inspired from other games. It doesn't make them any less fun. Please tell me SMG is trash, please tell me that the Orange Box is trash.

Okay, you made this thread and you're not even replying back to posts :| So let me get this straight, you're complaning about the Orange Box because TM2 gets boring and Portal is too short? If the Orange Box had cost $90 I might see your point, but it's a complete bargin. Not to mention the PC version is cheaper and better. Mod support for these games are amazing and there are already a lot of good Portal levels made by the mod community for download. So Portal may last 1 hour to you, but it'll last many years for me. Some people will whine about anything these days :roll:

Wii, Gamecube, N64, Snes, Nes, Atari, Psx, PSP, Xbox, Gaming PC. I am mainly a PC gamer despite me owning all of these consoles.

[QUOTE="Nemme"][QUOTE="accameron"] Has to be the PS3. Didn't deliver on ANY of Sony's hype. Totally underwhelming and subpar sales. Every hyped game of 2007 flopped. Games sales are paltry as compared to 360 and Wii game sales (especially EA). Sony so much as admits defeat by cancelling the cell. Etc, etc etc. What is your vote? By the way, this week has been a terrible week for the PS3. Just saying.

No, I think you're misunderstood. The PS3 has the best games, best online, best capabilities and best price. Live with it. fanboy fanboy fanboy fanboy fanboy fanboy

It looks like you're the fanboy with that post :|

Then I guess I'd ask myself how much time I wanted to spend gaming vs. fiddling with drivers and patches. :|

All you do for drivers is just go to the Nvidia or ATI website and download the most recent driver they have and install it. Then you're done A lot of games come with auto updaters, and at the very least they will direct you to the proper website to download the patch. Then it'll take a whole 2-3 minutes to install the update You act is if you will spend a lot of time messing around with drivers and patches. It's just not true unless you have no idea what you're doing.

Lol you have no idea how good this game is going to be.

The recent 4 part gameplay vids blew me away

The game looks okay, I myself stopped playing after number 2. I wasn't too impressed with the graphics or the gameplay, I mean they looked nice but I was expecting better.To me the Metal Gear Solid series just went downhil, much like the Halo series did.

[QUOTE="coolviper2003"][QUOTE="SergeantSnitch"]

Not saying Farcry is bad, just that, do Hermits really want to spend a fortune to run an updated version of Farcry? I don't see a real evolution in gameplay.

Btw, I spent the money on upgrades so I can run the game when it comes out.

SergeantSnitch
You act as if the upgrades would only benefit Crysis. There are other games coming out ya know. Alan Wake, UT3 to name a few..... Upgrading for Crysis just means you'll be able to play any game for the next few years. You possibly couldn't be a pc gamer, otherwise you would have known that and not have spent $950 to upgrade your computer for one game :roll:

Not just one game, other games too. Sadly, I have an Xbox 360 so I can run Alan Wake without having to spend even more money on this damned computer. Let me tell you something, putting thermal paste on and then the heatsink isn't fun, especially when you've never done it before. I think upgrading my computer has taken years off my life!

If you can run Crysis, you'll run Alan Wake just fine. Do you honestly think the 360 version of Alan Wake would look better then on your $1000 PC? If you spent the money, might as well get it on the PC. I bet you anything it'll look better on your PC. The 360 is just a poor mans gaming PC that charges you for online play. Now that you have a real gaming PC, might as well put it to use.

At this point I don't think 360 and PC gamers would care. WE all played it, enjoyed it and moved on.
