@megaspiderweb09 @corteztheg of course PC Nintendo and Sony do not just follow Microsoft behind but they all follow the Uncanny Valley and she is a fecal bitch.
it doesn't matter anymore, gamers are all getting boned next gen, because it has become obvious that these measures are to assure third party developers and create a less risky environment to develop games becos the high cost of development is gonna make the game market really undesirable for developing studios and publishers. so expect double the amount of low risk and well known flagship FPS and assassin creeds next gen. in 2014 gaming soul just must go the way of the disco.
@megaspiderweb09 @corteztheg being that the next generation games would require investing far more to keep the uncanny valley in check like the last consoles, game development cost are gonna shoot up resulting in increases in amount of layoffs or studio closings compared to last gen. developers and publishers are more likely to go low risk. so more recognised brands with less marketing therefore more FPSs and HD collections. why do think they are taking these evil protective measures, to assure their third party developers that next gen is less risky to develop for.
it seems like these next gen consoles are being very risk aversive from day one trying covering production and investment cost to the extent that they are exercising protective measures that are not desirable to gamers. this risk aversive actions only implies that next-gen games are gonna be more of low risk first person shooters and HD (3D) collections of gears of war and COD classic series re-releases. so whats the point, stick to PC.
@shingui5 @corteztheg but this measure seems to be pushing it, i was ok with online pass and day one purchased game dlc. but this just greedy like having no backward-compatibility in consoles so as to sell old games as HD collection at high prices.
